Obviously your memory is going. Nobody believes that eliminating the Electoral College would reverse the results of any previous election.

I just took his from another thread just posted today:

"An out dated voting system choose Trump. God wouldn't have chosen a man . That makes his people look like fools"

Which doesn't support your point. The essence of the quote was that God neither chose Trump nor rejected Hillary.

Outdated voting system doesn't
That people think the Electoral College system is outdated doesn't mean they believe that changing it would reverse the results of the 2016 election.

It wouldn't reverse the results. But eliminating Electoral College would stop most republican's from being elected presidents.

None the less it still does build up at least a psychological mindset that Trump is an illegitimate President.

We don't need a "psychological mindset." Trump is a bad President and that is enough to be going on with.

Ok. Easily solved problem them. All Democrats have to do is nominate a "good" candidate to win the election this time next year.

I mean, if Donald is so bad then that should be easy, right? After all, the powerful mainstream media influences lots of people and they despise Trump, so even a mediocre Democrat candidate should win easily, right? The only reason Hillary lost is because she was the worst candidate imaginable.

Any of the inspiring Democrat candidates this time around should win easily, right? I mean, socialism is the easiest thing in the world to defend; lots of free stuff and servitude for all equally. Socialism has only killed a hundred million people or so over the past hundred years. That's in the past though. In this century socialism took the most prosperous nation in South America and threw it back to the stone ages. What's not to like?

... and you seriously think Donald Trump is the worst president imaginable?

It looks to me like all Democrats will have to do is communicate their policies accurately in order to make Republican talking points look irrelevant and stupid.

Personally, not so much. He's just an arrogant, ignorant doofus. What worries me are those of his supporters who think Trump is ordained to carry out a divine mandate.

This, of course, assumes that the President with strongly authoritarian leanings will abide by the actual results of the election, and instead contest it with every ounce of his and his supporters strength. If the election doesn't go Trump's way, Trump will advocate "2nd Amendment solutions" to ensure he stays in power.

He may not be "the worst president imaginable" (I have a rather vivid imagination), but he's the worst of all the options that have been presented.

Both parties are corrupt. I urge all here to desert the Repubs and Dems in 2020 and vote for some other candidate.
I urge voters to choose between D and R parties until such time as we have voting systems that are structurally amenable to a multiparty voting.

Until that time, your third party vote is a throwaway thats likely to advance your least favorite choice.

Yes. Easily the worst in our history.
Nah ... just from those I remember, my vote goes to Barack Obama although LBJ is a close second, with Jimmy Carter coming in third.

Not sure Trump is the best president ever. Times were good under Eisenhower, Reagan and Clinton. If Trump is re-elected then perhaps we'll be able to compare his economy against the others.

Nobody is going to take you seriously if you think that Sanders or Warren (to ignore the others for a second) are gong to nationalize private industry generally. You just look silly when you say that.

Wait a minute... let me guess. Clinton and FDR round out the top 5?
