Baptists believe the Bible is God's Word. So they have to believe 1 Corthinthians 12-14 is accurate. Specifically, 1 Corthinthians 13:12 says all of the Holy Spirit gifts will cease at a later date.

Yes, Baptists believe the Bible is the final revelation from God, that means no more gifts.

That is how Baptists have always understand canon...that it's closed.

I looked it up. It is in verses 8-10.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.
