Like it or not, we are all in the middle of an increase of spiritual warfare

Sin spurns the righteousness allotted by Christ’s own blood from the time of His sacrifice to this very day. Shortly thereafter, He sent word through His servant, this spurn will escalate.

Beyond the season of current un-ethical allowance those without engage in, no one knows just how extensive and yet, seldom viewed as watching for those kingdoms the Devil tempted Jesus with. As our wretched man dies daily, yet, grow with His care, we begin to see the escalation firsthand.

The attempt to spoil the flock now with this open exhibition of careless lies of carnal philosophy of every front in the world and all mutual support thereof, integrity is becoming treated as though a pointless concern from our fellow man. But this war continues, there is seldom a day when it doesn’t come near us.

Thank God for the living Christ whom knows and sees the hardships we endure and enables others to extend His care.

Of course, there are those who resist such contemplation as wholly compartmentalized as a relative element that has little to do with the processes within a Christian’s life. So sad to have to admit, many of my brothers are caught up in this relativism! To them, I am just a critical babbler whom isn’t able to give it to God and go about my life. That I could not provide one single example that trips up the relative sin narrative. Really?

Let's use this one. Now online marketing we know is big business these days. How many of my brothers are actively involved with imbedded (Hidden) response collections (Thefts)? Did you ask for this data from the visitor or willing subject yourself to spying on your neighbor?

Comments, esp., insightful ones welcome.

Thank you sir! Ever since installing a stand-alone VPN, my surf experience gets quite a lot more notifications requiring permission to host them, which doesn’t say much for Windows10 ‘much safer’ factory installed Defender.

But as for the example, I thought it good to use one of the least threatening, thereby, most abused activities of brothers who unfortunately work as heathens, endlessly opposed to God’s will.

But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he should be, a swindler, , Remove the wicked man from among yourselves.

1 Corinthians 5:11,13

“, , whether it be from the heart, or perhaps by fear, or to please the will, or there is some other reason brought forward, and rites, but their coupled with that of the unbelievers, ,” - Estius

From here we would have to be blind indeed not to know, if these same offenders were given the seats of authority, would be the same mentioned in His holy word who rise to the status of a wolf, false teachers of unchaste schemes, trying to mix inaccuracy with fact.

I switched over to Linux back in the early 2000's and haven't had a single computer virus, trojan attack, or malware for approaching 20 years. Every day, I get spam emails in my mailbox with embedded links, probably with malicious code, but my computer does not recognise the code and cannot activate the links. With a few exceptions, I do not install software from third party vendors, but use open source software installed directly from the Linux distribution's own repository which has already gone through intense quality controls to ensure the software is safe to use and the source code is made readily available.

The rest depends on good housekeeping. In my email software, I disable embedded links in messages by default and only activate them if I want them. I use a root account for administering the system and set very low level privileges for general use. When I'm surfing the internet, I only accept cookies from sites I know and trust and only do online shopping using an encrypted website connection.

Wow, guess I should be schooling myself a bit better! Let me then ask an off-topic question, , are the beefier but lesser-known such as Linux saddled with a few choice limitations some of the more popular OS-systems enjoy?

Twenty years ago, I had to dual boot Linux with my proprietary operating system (which was then Windows 98) as there was essential software that I needed to use and a number of peripherals (such as camera, USB modem) that would not work with Linux.

These days, when it comes to software choice, the gap between Windows and Linux is steadily closing.

LibreOffice is considered a replacement for MS Office and with the exception of some very advanced Office features, has most of the tools that people would ever need.

Image editors such as the GIMP have the majority of features you will find in Photoshop.

I enjoy using software to produce music. Years ago, there were hardly any decent digital audio workstation applications, but that has changed since companies have ported Linux versions of their apps.

Nearly all of the main web browsers run on Linux - Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Vivaldi, and very soon Microsoft Edge will be available.

I have access to work tools using Outlook 365 which is all web based. One of the biggest advantages nowadays is that as software is becoming more and more "cloud" based, the operating system we use is becoming more insignificant. Instead of hosting applications, it is just becoming a portal or gateway into the cloud.

Hardware compatability is getting better as kernels become updated. One of the advantages of Linux is that more devices are becoming "plug and play" without the need to use installation media.

I use Fedora Workstation, which is not only a distribution, but the 'test bed' for Red Hat Enterprise Linux which powers millions of servers across the world. It is highly stable, robust and secure. All my web browsing, visits to CF, are done on this computer. All the images I share on this site were produced using open source software. The only commercial software I use is for producing music.

I have a lot of friends using Linux who are very persuasive in getting people to make the switch. But I always say that all operating systems have their advantages and disadvantages and people should choose what works best for them!

Photoshop can run under a compatability layer called WINE and a piece of front-end software called PlayonLinux.

This software can also be used to install and run a number of Windows applications and games.

Not all versions of the same software run perfectly and some not at all. There is a site somewhere that tells you which versions of MS software run well with it and are graded bronze, silver or gold depending on the satisfaction of the user!
