Deep seated anger

Would appreciate prayers for some deep seated anger I have which is the residue of my old life and also due to some of the things that have happened since coming to faith.
Please pray that the Lord heals me of these things and helps me believe that vengeance belongs to Him and He will repay.

Deep seated anger is symptomatic of deep woundings. God is the Healer of all kinds of wounds, especially those deep in our hearts, our souls and our minds. From the "ashes" of catastrophe's He heals, and thus raises up beauty from those ashes, in His timing. Praying for you, dear heart. (((hug)))

We will pray, you pray too ! He will bring you to a point where you willingly turn that anger over to Him, you will simply decide to do that. I can't tell you when but your job in it is to do that when the time comes. When you do then you feel the anger is just gone, no room in you for it anymore. It's a decision, you decide to respond in that way; " Lord I'm giving this anger to you,please discard of it ". So we will pray that this comes quickly in the name of Jesus. Amen

Father, I pray that this one will get the proper perspective that will melt away that anger. May they turn it over to You, and live in the spirit and not the flesh. All of us that deal with this same issue, may we continue to feed the spirit, and say no to those fleshly feelings when they reappear. May we remember what You have saved us from, and what You are transforming us in to. May we not coddle these angry feelings, and the pleasure or satisfaction that may give us, but realize that we are actually hurting ourselves in that coddling. May we stay minded of our objective, and stay focused on Your strength and on pleasing You. Amen.

I pray for the love of the Lord to drive out all anger

Hi there,
Just want to say I'm proud of you for seeking to be rid of the anger, and finding the strength to do that in Christ alone. Something I've been trying to learn lately in my prayer life, is the power of being specific. Talk to the Lord about each thing you're angry about, each person that hurt you. Tell Him why you hurt. Ask him to bring to your mind the people that hurt Him. Meditate. Pray over those details too.
I prayed for you already and I'll continue to do so. God bless you for growing in your faith and seeking Him!

I pray first that you will get off of any mental treadmill you are on where you may be rehashing wrongs done to you. Anger is very bad for, even deadly at times, your physical health.

I pray for freedom from anger and peace for you.
