I love the beautiful trees I see every day. The tall, splendid, pine trees,at the front of our drive always inspire me. So sturdy and strong. They are so old that they have preservation orders on them. They remind me of faith in Christ Jesus. May we grow strong in Christ! What is your favourite tree?
There are so many that are beautiful in different ways. There's something about a beech with it's pale smooth bark standing among darker trees that always makes me stop and marvel, but I think I love the various evergreens the most. There is a comfort in sitting in a stand of hemlocks, kind of a cleft in the rock feeling of protection, especially if it's raining...

I love it when trees bend over to form a canopy. This photo was taken at Womborne near Wolverhampton, along a canal towpath where the trees on both sides stretched over and touched each other. I can imagine what it will look like in a few weeks when all the golden leaves have fallen.

Pies or crumbles - I love them both. Perfect with ice cream or custard!
My husband loves pies best, as I am trying Keto I stay with apples and cream, :)

The Sycamore tree. Zacheaus the tax collecter climbed one many years ago, because he was short and wanted to see Jesus pass by. Jesus saw him and he went to Zacheus' house for tea. Zacheus became a changed man making restitution for his dishonesty

Why are these oak trees twisted?
I'm not sure about that. I've looked it up online and it says it has something to do with the trees preferring one-sided lateral growth which gives them their unique shape. They are also affected by the weather conditions where, over time, they have had to adapt and survive.
