The Catholic diocese of Salford in north-west England has become the latest in multiple Catholic dioceses around the United Kingdom to begin hosting "LGBT + Masses." In Salford, as in other dioceses, the LGBT + Masses enjoy the support of their respective local bishops.

I visited a church that had a choir filled with cross-dressers. The Priest at the time was super liberal and insisted that a nun do a "talk" (homily). The priest was pushing HIS agenda and not Jesus Christ's.

I went because a friend of mine wanted me to visit his church, but I quit going after I figured everything out. My friend was annoyed that I wouldn't go there, but I go to Mass to worship the Lord, not to make some kind of political statement.

I see you left. Good for you. I wouldn't tolerate it. Not more than the time it took to size it up. We are supposed to worship the one God, not our vices.

Romans 1:18-32 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness & wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness. For what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain IN THEM.

20For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power & divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse.

21For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but they became futile in their thinking & darkened in their foolish hearts. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools & exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images of mortal man & birds & animals & reptiles.

24Therefore God gave them over in the desires of their hearts to impurity for the dishonoring of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie & worshiped & served the creation rather than the Creator, who is forever worthy of praise! Amen.

26For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. Likewise, the men abandoned natural relations with women & burned with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men & received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28Furthermore, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, He gave them up to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.

29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed & depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit & malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant & boastful. They invent new forms of evil; they disobey their parents. They are senseless, faithless, heartless, merciless.

32Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things are worthy of death, they not only continue to do these things, but also approve of those who practice them.

How quickly people forget that their days on this Earth are numbered.

Consider well where it is that God will find you when you draw your last breath: Worshiping God, or worshiping the devil's vices?

Doesn't matter. In twenty years, Britain will have a Muslim majority---they'll take care of it.

Of course. All we have to do is to look back to the French Revolution in order to see the future.
And that will change Britain from the very top on down.

But hopefully when that happens, there will also be a pocket of resistance formed somewhere in Britain, whose motto is also inspired by the history and the martyrs of the French Revolution.

Pray that when that happens, that there will be faithful Catholics in Britain who will remember St. Louis de Montfort (of happy memory), the resistance by the faithful Catholics of the Western region of France known as the Vendee, and by their devotion to The Sacred Heart of Jesus.

P.S. Yes, there is a DVD of all of this, called "The War of the Vendee".

Faithful Christians lived through a similar mess when Henry VIII took control of the Church in England, killed priests, burned churches, made the mass illegal. The faith went underground, became Recusant, survived. It may be time for this again to either survive cardinal Nichols or the Muslim takeover or both.

Quite possibly. But Christ told us we would be hated by all nations, and that they would persecute us, and crucify us, and burn us with fire, and kill us with the edge of the sword. It's all right there in the Gospels. I wish I had better news, but I'm afraid I'm not high enough up on the food chain to contradict God. :(

How do people find fellowship when a church goes underground?

Cautiously.

Pray for God to guide you to one. In the meanwhile, pray often.

Certain telltales, word of mouth, maybe things more familiar to those in spycraft. The level of it depends on the consequences of being discovered.

The good news is that Christianity started out that way, We've had practice through the centuries on several continents, and today the underground Church has grown in China under the nose of the Chicoms. There are more Christians in China than there are Communist Party members. There are lots of Christians around with experience in being underground.
