This includes what car we drive, every doctor we see, what temperature we set our thermostats to and even what food we eat. These are just a few areas of our lives that will be affected if any Democrat is elected president. They will take a sledgehammer to consumer choice and innumerable liberties Americans currently enjoy, placing many of those decisions in the hands of Washington elites and bureaucrats who "know better."

Tactically speaking, Democrats are trying to make the next election about President Trump, whom they've made into the boogeyman for political purposes. But make no mistake: The future of this country isn't about one man. It's about freedom.

Between you and I and the lamppost...

It's posts such as this that cause me to scratch my head and wonder how people really believe this stuff. We've certainly had Democratic leadership before in this country and none of these things happened. Just as with President Trump and many of his grand claims of all that he was going to do, when one actually takes the reigns of the office, they find that it isn't a dictatorship and if enough people are against any particular plan of action, then it isn't likely to come about.

People who believe this tripe somehow seem to have the understanding that everything anyone says during campaigning is a guarantee that those things are going to come about, even as they look at the present leadership and know that it isn't the way our system of governance works.

So, as I say, I read posts like this and just scratch my head and think...gosh, this person must be some five year old that doesn't know the reality of how things work. The truth seems to be that these articles and opinions are just a bunch of folks at the bottom of the barrel who are clawing their way out anyway that they can. Who will say, much like their illustrious leader, anything they think will win their cause no matter the veracity of such claims.

I think our democracy is big enough and strong enough to endure a Democrat in the White House. Especially since it has already endured Trump

You are correct, and once one of the ism's get into power everyone will hate it.

Just ask people who grew-up in Eastern Europe during the cold war...they will tell you.

maybe a tangent/ footnote RE "prosper"....
I read a few months ago, that the Mennonites huge farms were confiscated by the government , north east country from Germany, before wwII.
Thus, apparently , they lost their way of living, and their way of making a living...
Hitler GAVE THEM BACK THEIR FARMS/PROPERTY,
and they turned and supported Hitler, and even some of them agreed to be soldiers (contrary to all their previous beliefs and ways they lived) to fight FOR /with Hitler ! ! ! (yes, this surprised and astonished me) ...
the point - their "prosperity" resulted in much evil , worse for themselves (denying their testimony and their faith by their actions) than maybe for anyone else....

Wrong! We were told thousands of years ago that the world will end up in the hands of the antichrist. It is extremely naive of us to think it will get there being led by righteous leaders. The conservative and liberal agendas both arise from the same source and lead to the same end. The world will not survive under either of the 2 major parties.
