Took refuge in the Triple Jewel of Buddha, Dharma & Sangha under Master Hsuan Hua in 1979. So, 40 years in this lifetime. Have lived in So. California (aka Fires Abound) for nearly 50 years. Old, fat, bald retired library clerk. Wife died a few years ago. Poorly educated, since I taught myself mostly. See value in all spiritual traditions, but prefer those which have been around longest. Conservative in temperament and often politically too.
