Kanye West’s newest album-a gospel album which he named ‘Jesus is King’. I wouldn’t have listened or given it a chance if not for a Christian-Jesus-following couple who posted about it. Which of course piqued my curiosity as I just recently learned of Kanye West’s genuine conversion to Christianity. Unreal. Have it playing in my car on repeat. Glory to God for using Him to reach the young and old. Absolutely heart warming. Literally a modern-day Saul turned into Paul

God has been ministering to me through this album and I’m not a rap fan! There are several tracks I like but Water is His message to me.

May Adonai draw many wayward souls to Him through his work.

Amen : ) that is beautiful to hear..I like Water too. I cried listening to 'God is'. His voice and countenance is just different from his old music. The way he is unashamed to preach Jesus while putting his career on the line and going against the grain and agenda of the music industry is so inspiring and beautiful to see. Im so thankful to God for using Kanye for His glory and for using him to make me self-reflect on /my/ walk with Jesus and remembering the days when the blazing fire lit within me of whole heartedly following Jesus and actually living it out with Him and sharing Him with others was once so strong, nothing else mattered. That same born again zeal and fire is re-igniting in my heart and I can sense the Holy Spirit calling me to draw closer to God again. To not just merely read the Word but to apply it and see how God can change my life and use me to draw others to Him.

There’s no greater compliment to an artist than knowing their work moved you. God laid Kanye on my heart earlier this year. I’ve labored for men in the past (saved and unsaved) and understand the spiritual wrestling match he’s enduring. I went through the same and it took a year before God delivered me. It takes courage to stand for Jesus in the lion’s den. I’m praying for his victory.

Im so thankful to God for using Kanye for His glory and for using him to make me self-reflect on /my/ walk with Jesus and remembering the days when the blazing fire lit within me of whole heartedly following Jesus and actually living it out with Him and sharing Him with others was once so strong, nothing else mattered.

He’s rekindling your flame through him. And it’s meant to challenge our hearts. Knowing what he’s standing against, we have no excuse why we can’t man our post in safer quarters.

Watching him has challenged me to go deeper in God. I accepted my calling and I’m walking it out. But I can’t minister from afar. I need to be in the midst of those I’m meant to serve.

I’m called to those who have everything they need save God. People like Kanye. Its humbling.

That same born again zeal and fire is re-igniting in my heart and I can sense the Holy Spirit calling me to draw closer to God again. To not just merely read the Word but to apply it and see how God can change my life and use me to draw others to Him.

You are His tapestry. Let Him use you to draw weary hearts to Himself. You were fashioned for such a time as this. Never doubt it.

Thanks for those mnorian! Yeah its been awhile...been busy with Cub Scouts, uni, rugby league and lots of other stuff..I heard someone singing Wuthering Heights at karaoke last Wednesday and the song became a fave of mine.
