Even the demons!

Reading Luke 4 verse 41.
An astonishing powerful thought is, demons know Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He had to shut them up! Yet, so many ignorant unbelievers all around us do not know or accept it.
I find that thought astounding. Demons from hell are clearly aware of this fact and afraid. We read it in the New Testament many times. How unfortunate is the person whose mind is so open to the delusions of this false world, believing any amount of nonsense presented daily to all of us - but their mind closes stubbornly to this one incredible fact. Jesus Christ is alive and with us.
Demons must be delighted as their work is so easy! The fool is easy to manipulate and move to bad ways.

I personally think that the verse in james is an exhortation. See the context of the passage was faith without works is void. So when we live a life as a christian that does not look like Christ, we must ask the question, are we sure about what we believe in? Do we really believe in Jesus? Or are we attending church to find a spouse, or attending church so that our kids can use the sunday school as a day care. I think that we should work our salvation out with fear and trembling. All the more as we see the day approaching. To pray to God that we are worthy to escape Judgement. Luke 21:36 - Good thread dear sister.

I don't think they fully knew who He was. Well Satan trying to tempt GOD? Satan knows God made all so.. what power and authority could he give to Christ if he knew Him? If he did he would never have killed him.

Side note. I know how you meant it :) but demons delighted...never. Everything that GOD is.. all the GOOD and all that goes with it they do not have. No joy.. no hope on and on. They are everything God is not.

Oh yes the demons fully knew, in luke 4:41 the demon's actually called Jesus the "son of God."

they know full well what the trinity is, what the gospel is, they have studied the bible for thousands of years, and most likely have the whole bible memorized.

Demons are from the spiritual realm and see things of the spiritual realm, man is carnal, man is temporal, man living by sight can not see the things of the spiritual realm but must believe by faith. If we take that leap, even if in small faith then slowly things are revealed to us, as we who believe have experienced and know. We see creation, we may wonder how it came to be but until someone points out it's from God then how would we know ?
Demons are looking in from another dimension. Not making excuses for non believers mind you, just sayin.
