Our [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] parliament is finally submitting to the test of the voters after years of not being able to agree on anything. A date has been set for December 12th

Brexit is a dominant issue but so also the prospect of Corbyn as PM.

Must admit this election marks a very difficult choice for me. Neither of the main parties are opposed to BREXIT.

Corbyn is an atheist, republican, unilateralist who would probably tank the economy.

Boris Johnson would deliver Brexit and may do little to tackle the deepening challenge of inequality in the UK between young and old, homeowners and people who rent, the 1%s and the rest.

The Lib Dems and greens seem clear on Revocation as do the SNP if you are a Scot
But these come with baggage.

What are the main issues for you in this election and who will you vote for?

A man who is ignorant and defiant of where power and authority come from is not fit to govern being the sentiment here.
Power grows from the barrel of a gun.

The UK is in a right mess at the moment. I hope the Tories don't win, a coalition of the Lib Dems, Greens and Labour would be the best outcome, imo.

Corbyn is not fit to govern and is ambiguous on BREXIT. He is an atheist, antimonarchy, anti American, antiSemite, unilateral nuclear disarmer who would tank the economy with his Marxist naivety.

Personally, though a life long Tory, I will vote Lib Dem as they are the strongest antiBREXIT party in my constituency. The Greens were my other choice.

That might be the only way to stop BREXIT so long as Corbyn is not the leader of that coalition.

I am glad the people are at least getting a vote, and hopefully can put the Brexit issue to rest either way.

Since the other was not binding this seems the only way to do it. I don't have enough background to say which vote would be best, but I do follow things just to see the general trends.

Farage has threatened to split the vote on the right

Farage calls on Johnson to 'build Leave alliance'
In more recent days, it has been reported that Farage has -- without a formal agreement with the Tories -- opted not to run Brexit Party candidates in constituencies where it would split the vote between Tory and Brexit. If this is correct, it represents a remarkable step in the direction of putting nation above partisan interests.

A few days before Farage withdrew 317 candidates he was spouting off about Johnson's deal being a sell-out of Brexit, a sell-out of the fishermen. Blah blah blah. I wonder what happened behind closed doors to change the smug snake-oil salesman's mind.

Well, I don't know any of the answers to that, but we usually judge such matters on what the end result or decision is. If Farage wanted to contest wherever possible, what else would one expect from the leader of a new party?

But if he could not work out something with the Tories and so decided to sacrifice his own party's chances so that the one policy on which the party was founded might succeed...I would call that remarkable in any politician of that level and rather admirable as well. If someone disagrees, then that's all right, but this is how I look at the matter and would feel the same if the names were changed and the policy in question were something else.

Farage has threatened to split the vote on the right

The 'right'? The proposed Brexit Party candidates included a member of the Communist Party and were supported by George Galloway!

Good news in Scotland:

The SNP, the Conservatives, Labour and the Lib Dems are expected to stand in all 59 of Scotland's constituencies.

Source: Election 2019: Scottish candidate lists confirmed

No coalition up here, so hopefully the remain vote can be split between the SNP, Labour and the Lib Dems...

He wants BREXIT to happen and people in his party were worried that by campaigning against sitting Tories in some seats he would give the election to Corbyn. But since he has made no agreement not to stand in the key marginals against the Tories he may yet do that.

People will be voting tactically in this election and often on the BREXIT issue alone. I have 2 priorities - to stop BREXIT and not to let to Corbyn in. In many constituencies these are mutually exclusive options and people will have to choose between the 2 but the Labour Party stands no chance in my constituency so I am voting Lib Dem.

EDIT: After the poor performance of the Lib Dem leader on TV changed my mind to vote Green by postal ballot. But this is just a protest vote.

Just watched the leaders debate. Was shocked by the level of disrespect for the leaders in the audience. It is clear that BREXIT has eroded trust and respect for politicians but there has to be a certain level for government to function. This is system on the edge and BREXIT needs to be done with as soon as possible.

That said thought Boris won this one hands down and people clapped him quite warmly as he left. The Lib Dem leader was quite weak and struggled with some really vicious questioning but will still get my vote on the basis of the BREXIT issue alone. She was the only national party leader there arguing for revocation. Corbyn was Corbyn and the polls tell the story. The Tories are on 40% and Labour lagging at 29%. Looks like Tories will win and therefore we will have BREXIT at this point.

We are just a week away from Boris getting a mandate to end judicial oversight of govt?possibly... If you read the manifesto it's language indicates an intention to end judges challenging his ability to prorogue parliament.
