He paid the price for those who LOVE Him and do so by keeping the commandments:
(Old Testament | Exodus 20:6)
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
(New Testament | John 14:15 - 16)
15 ¶ If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
(New Testament | John 14:23 - 24)
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

THIS is the proof I've been pointing out repeatedly:
1–3, The Father and the Son may appear personally to men; 4–7, Angels reside in a celestial sphere; 8–9, The celestial earth will be a great Urim and Thummim; 10–11, A white stone is given to all who enter the celestial world; 12–17, The time of the Second Coming is withheld from the Prophet; 18–19, Intelligence gained in this life rises with us in the Resurrection; 20–21, All blessings come by obedience to law; 22–23, The Father and the Son have bodies of flesh and bones.
The parts I bolded are most definitely not true! Do you know what a colon is and what follows it?

Well, lets take each of these topics and see what the bible says:
1) The Father and the Son may appear personally to men. This is true.
Genesis 32:30 Jacob had a personal visit from God.
Genesis 18:18 Abraham had a personal visit from God.
Exodus 24:10 70 elders of Israel were personally visited by God.
I could go on and on.
2) Angels reside in a celestial sphere. This is true if you call where God dwells, "a Celestial sphere." If you can, angels dwell with God in a celestial sphere.
3) The celestial earth will be a great Urim and Thummim. This is 1/2 true per the bible. The earth will be changed to a glorious sphere, but does not say anything about a Urim and Thummim that I can remember.
4) A white stone is given to those that enter the celestial world. This is true. If the celestial world is heaven, then look at Revelation 2:17. For those who overcome the world will be given a white stone....
5) The time of the second coming is withheld from the prophet. This is true, when did JS ever declare the time of the second coming?
As you can see, your Mormon memory is not good, so study up some more.
Oh, BTW, another word for a colon is large intestine, what follows it is inappropriate detail on the forum.

In Exodus 33:18, Moses asks God, “Please show me your glory.” God responds, “‘I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. But,’ he said, ‘you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.’ Then the Lord said, ‘There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen.’” (Exodus 33:19–23). So, clearly, Moses never truly or fully saw God.

In Mormonism, only exalted persons dwell with God.

I've been aware of the white stones on which is our new name that no one knows.

IOW, your former spouses(no wives in heaven) might receive a new name, definitely not revealed to you in the temple!

Make no progress? What do you call progress? Is it having Christians join your church? Of course we won't. Some Mormons will become Christians. Maybe there are lurkers, maybe not.
Anyway, I'm grateful for God's blessings and lessons in my life and for His wonderful Sovereignity! Your god is a taskmaster who can't show mercy.

God does show mercy to those who LOVE Him:

Without God's mercy to undeserving sinners, there could be no forgiveness from Him. We couldn't erase our sins.
Colossians 1
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath [qualified us]made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Yes, He shows mercy on those who turn away from sin:

Without His Spirit we can't understand spiritual things and wouldn't care about repenting.
The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. (1 Cor. 2:14 NIV)
9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of e his Spirit who lives in you.
