Lord Jesus was most ordinary to look at. He was completely normal in appearance. He was so average that Judas was bribed to point Jesus out to those who came to arrest Him.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.....so this is not about physical looks. I believe this is to warn us that Jesus will come in a way and form that we do not expect, which may appear wrong to us,.....and will be rejected by many because of it.....just like in the Gospels.

Which means, If Christ happens to be an ugly man, and comes to you saying He is the Christ and wish you give you Life.....you will crucify Him.

There is a reason idol creation/worship is forbidden.
