If you believe Trump committed treason, explain your assertion. Wanting to make America great again doesn’t constitute a betrayal of the United States.
Wanting to make America great again isn’t the same as actually doing it.

As I've shared before I grew up while President Obama was in office, lived for a while in an area that has a lot of folks who were proud of their hatred of him on account of the color of his skin. They became true devotees of Donald Trump's way back when he was still the host of that tacky reality TV show, on account of his racist birther conspiracy to try to delegitimize President Obama. They claimed he was "fighting for them" by trying to get that "black man in the White House" out of there. They claimed he had no right to be there, even though he'd won both of his elections fully - EC and popular vote. The whole 8 years they could not get over the elections, lol.

I go on Facebook now and then just to connect with older family. I've looked up some of those same folks. Sure enough the same ones who spent years disrespecting every dang thing about President Obama are now posting pious memes about how it's so unbiblical to judge the president. To not respect his authority as POTUS. That every single criticism is on account of how the libs just can't get over the last national election. Never mind that the last national election was in 2018 and the Democrats did pretty darn great in it, lol. The cognitive dissonance is surreal.

Well, I'm certainly not going to waste 2 minutes and 10 seconds of my life on a You Tube tape like that one, but I will take a stab at the question. If all that can be said against the president who has done so much good is that he's egotistical (like all the others) and loudmouthed, then I will try to not make that be what determines where my vote goes. I really do want the best for my country and hope not to vote on the basis of some little irritant.

And by the way, what does that crowd of Democrats running for president at present offer by way of contrast? It's embarrassing. Maybe if Franklin Roosevelt or Harry S Truman were running in the 2020 primaries, but Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Bob O'Rourke, and Mayor Whazzisname??? Give me a break!

No, you don't get it yet. It's not just ego.

This won't be pleasant, and it was very surprising to me, just a hour or 2 ago.

It's not a waste of your time, if you want to say anything about Trump from here forward.

We must pray for the president, whoever he is. For he has a terrible burden. Power is a curse, not a blessing.

I do suspect you have exaggerated the sins of others. As for the birther controversy, have you not ever supported or believed or spread or gossiped something that was slanderous about another person? We must look at ourselves fifty times over before looking at others, that is what the Lord commands.

Okay. I watched it and now you get to tell me what you want it to mean for me. At this point it doesn't tell me anything I hadn't guessed at before.

How are you justifying your judgment of others being critical of the president? As a fellow sinner, you’re in no better position to judge them for their character than they are to judge the president for his.
Saying we are all sinners is not judging others. That is a simple fact.

That’s not the judgment I was taking about. Criticism of the President being either right or wrong is a judgment of other’s behavior, in itself. What basis do you have to determine whether their criticism is right or wrong?

Judge not Trump, that ye be not judged by Trump. For with what judgment ye judge Trump, ye shall be judged by Trump: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again tenfold in a court of Law by Trump apointed Judges.

A patriot supports his country all the time and the president when he deserves it.
~~~ Mark Twain
This is the actual quote:
"Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it." ~Samuel Langhorne Clemens (Mark Twain).
Thank you. But, it would seem that The Donald thinks that he is the government.
Maybe.
But I'll still go with, you know, democracy.
So when Donald bypasses it, you'll complain?
Who are we kidding... of course you won't.
What has your response got to do with my post that you quoted?
You agreed with the notion that Donald can't be judged because we are all sinners... if that is so, then nobody can be judged.
I doubt that Samuel Langhorne Clemens AKA Mark Twain was referring to President Trump. He died in 1910.
I posted no such thing anywhere in this thread.
Nevertheless, out of curiosity, please point out what post of mine you are referring to.
You quoted the post that defended Donald on the basis of, "Aren't we all sinners?"
Or do you disagree with the OP's line of reasoning?
