First construction of brand-new border wall in Texas begins

Construction on a new border wall in Texas where none previously existed has begun along the Rio Grande river, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) confirmed to Fox News on Friday.

While 75 miles of wall has already been built under the Trump administration, until now all of those structures replaced existing ones such as vehicle barriers or dilapidated fences, which were ineffective before being replaced, according to the agency.

Don't know how good the Mexican mail service is?

MEXICO said? I think you have Mexico mixed up with a certain former TV reality show host that has a penchant for fibbing.

Doesn't really matter to Trump supporters.
Just pleased to have some of that
long talked about wall.
Wall -- well needed.

Oh, we know. Trump supporters, as you admit, don't care how our taxes are spent on frivolous things and they don't care if they are lied to by Trump.

Just pleased to have some of that
long talked about wall.
Wall -- well needed.
M
Needed for what? How has your life changed now that the wall is there?

Facts and Promises never did.

Is this the section he paid for by undermining your military? Cause I know how passionate Republicans are with supporting soldiers

Good to hear. Walls are necessary to keep out the illegals.

Your candidates want to give free healthcare to the world, and you have the audacity to talk of wasteful government spending?

We need the wall to keep open borders democrats from completing their treasonous policy of population replacement via weaponized migration as their only means of achieving electoral victory.

As a Christian, I disagree 100%. I know that it is against God's Will to mistreat immigrants and refugees, according to His Word:
Jeremiah 22
3 Thus saith the Lord; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.

4 For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.

5 But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith the Lord, that this house shall become a desolation.

Let me ask you a question. How many people do you think should be allowed to immigrate to the US legally per year? Please answer me directly and don’t dodge the question with an ambiguous answer.

Good thing we aren't a theocracy, huh John?

As an American, it's paramount that we care for our national security in the face of invasion via mass migration.

Being a Christian isn't justification for open borders treason.

So if one billion people wanted to legally immigrate to the US, which is actually a reasonable statistic considering how much poverty there is in the world, you would be fine with that? How do you think adding a billion immigrants would affect our society?

Sure, let them come in. Imagine all the job creation and how much the consumer base would grow and how our economy would grow.

As for your assumption that it's "actually a reasonable statistic" you're quite wrong. First of all most of those people live in China and China doesn't let people just leave. On top of that, not every impoverished person in the world dreams of coming to the USA, despite what you think. And of those who do, if permitted to leave where they are, they often don't have the means to do so (financially or otherwise).

But sure, if they can come here, let them come. Millions of people have already come here, including Christopher Columbus and billions of Europeans. It would be a huge boon to our society to have that many more people in the labor base and as consumers to buy the crap we make and need to sell. Among a billion people just imagine how many future doctors, lawyers, CEO's, inventors, scientists, teachers, etc. there would be.

How many more questions do you need answered? There's this thing called "school" - perhaps you should look into it if you're seeking an education. I don't mind helping those who need to be taught but at some point I won't do it for free.
