So you are asked for specifics and instead you create a fairy tale, talking about "big bad wolf"and "she wolf." The gas-lighting here is being done by Republicans to distract from the misdeeds of Trump.
As for "lying and making things up," let us not pretend that these things are not politics in the current era. Before the election,
Republicans were already planning ways they could impeach Clinton, had she been elected. When Obama was elected the Republicans talked about doing everything in their power to stop his legislative agenda and make him a "one term President." I'm sure they would have talked impeachment if Obama had given them any type of wrong doing they could have used to justify impeachment.
As for Democrats, they have been doing their job. Again, it is Republicans refusing to do their job. The fact is that
the House is passing bills -- and forwarding them to the Senate, where they go to die. In fact, Mitch McConnell is so proud of his not doing anything, he has
nicknamed himself the "Grim Reaper" -- in most cases he refuses to even let bills passed in the House be debated in the Senate.
