God gave me mercy. He gave me life. He rescued me from the evil one. I owe him my life. I am honor-bound to live as well for him as I can. My purpose is to find the opportunities for doing good that he prepared in advance for me to do, and know him better, and to make him known.

Relation to God is all about heart not brain.
We worship Him because we love Him (heart)
He asks us to open the door of our heart (not brain)
Open your heart to Him and He will come and commune with you.

Revelation 3:
20‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

If you cant hear His voice, ask with all your heart for Him to speak with you.

I am a young messianic male. I need some other reason to worship god other than fear of punishment from him. I have a brain condition that hinders my ability to connect to others so the "my friend" reason is gone. Any ideas?
Fear of God is the birth of all true wisdom. Fear in the sense of awe, wonder, respect. We fear God and we love God.

God is the Creator of everything. If it were not for God, you would not be around to ask the question. God is all loving, all powerful, all knowing and everywhere all at once. It's funny how people worship movie stars, sports people and rock bands but think that there is something wrong with worshipping God. I owe Him my life. When I was in the pit of hell, He pulled me out. A couple of hours ago, we helped a 44 year old man come to know Christ. The peace and joy on his face were enough to get me thanking God for His mercy and grace.

Consider that we were created for God, not to be happy as an end for ourselves. God made you and there is no other purpose in life ultimately than to glorify God and prove His perfect will (i.e. demonstrate the excellence and the beauty of living His way and trusting in Him by faith). Man living apart from God is left to vanity, darkness, and the inevitable calamity of his own devices. Why would anyone not choose to seek and be governed by the instructions of an all-wise, all-knowing, totally good God??? What wisdom and profit is in refusing His ways, even though it is what most choose? Man has corrupted the world by forsaking God, we are indebted to God, not vice-versa, and God will be faithful to appropriately recompense every soul who has ever lived in eternity after the dead have been resurrected. He has to do so to uphold His own truth and His own name-otherwise He'd be complicit with evil. This has to do with the sound logic of why punishment for not seeking and obeying God is appropriate, suitable, and necessary. Moreover He offers us grace in the Lord Jesus to repent and get in line with Him in this present world so we can be reconciled to Him and escape His holy wrath which is coming. Jesus' unspeakable labor and suffering to redeem us to Himself for our eternal good only strengthens God's claim to us. He has an eternal plan to reconcile and obtain a holy people for Himself who are redeemed from sin and restored to His image in a restored creation. Consider then the utter horror of missing out on this by going our own way and how there is logically only one other alternative to partaking in this. Sound logic and wisdom cry out these truths and call for us to bow to Jesus as our rightful Lord and call on Him as the Savior whom we are justly condemned and unclean without. With that, look up the words to the wonderful hymn "If I gained the world but lost the Savior".

Revelation 4:11 "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."
