You are correct. Muslim men can marry Jewish and Christian women (though from what I understand, such marriages are not preferred), but Muslim women cannot marry non-Muslim men. Islam is kind of the inverse of Judaism, in that the religion is 'passed down', if you will, through the father, rather than the mother. This is why cases like that of Meriam Ibrahim in Sudan unfold the way they do: Her Muslim father leaves her Christian mother to raise her by herself, so she is raised in Christianity and never knows Islam, but technically she is still considered a Muslim by law since her father is a Muslim, so when she marries a fellow Christian later in life, she is turned in to police by a Muslim relative for committing 'adultery' (since obviously the marriage of a Muslim woman and a non-Muslim man can never be a true marriage, because that's not allowed in Islam).

This is another of the many, many ways that Islam "stacks the deck" in its own favor, just like how you aren't technically allowed to leave it (though many do), aren't allowed to say anything impermissible against the Qur'an or Muhammad, etc. Lots of prohibitions of this type that of course never apply to how Muslims behave towards others.

Absolutely! As you say apostasy is punishable by death under Islamic law, as are a number of other crimes. Then there are references in the Quran to Jihad as a Holy War. I think Islam is the most aggressive and violent of all the major religions.

This forum is something I have been looking to join for a long time, a chance to speak with like minded folks who love Christ above all things.
I think what we are seeing today is the line is growing between God and Satan, people hate to admit it but prophesy after prophesy is being fulfilled. The Spiritual warfare we face as the body of Christ is seeping into the physical realm. This type of stuff you would see in some sort of fantasy book or a video game but its the real deal. God is showing us that the times are upon us. It could be tomorrow or 100 years from now but "soon" is the key word.
(Just my two cents )

Welcome! I'm a new member of the forum, too.

I read an article about the decline of Christianity in the UK and few Google searches indicated that this trend is happening all over the western world. So, is it inevitable? Is it a sign of the End Times? What is the future of Christianity?

Personally I think the decline of Christianity is being contrived by Luciferian forces. The political/media/industrial elite, though often masquerading as Christians, are actively trying to destroy it.
I think if you want to save Christianity, you're going to have to start thinking OUTSIDE of the box.

Technology is a cop out. There's nothing new under the sun. The perversions available online have been available to people for centuries in towns all over the world.

Hello Redwing. Same sex marriage/recognition of gender change and hormone therapy/ industrial level abortion, these may be new developments to a great extent. God Bless :)

Kind of like , or exactly with , Jesus Attitude.

He went OUTSIDE the gate. His followers go wherever He goes - OUTSIDE the gate. :)

I disagree if you mean Christianity must get with the times, it is the times that must bend to Christianity.

I didn’t say get with the times. I said to think outside of the box.

An online friend of mine from England said he found a group that have a high esteem for the books by Rick Joyner. If you are interested I will try to find the link to the group?

This book is about a future awakening for England.

Today's technology is the game changer. Never before has man had the ability to be instantly obnoxious around the world.
Then I suppose the best solution is to disconnect, or at least only use it as a tool only for when necessary.

I haven't heard of Rick Joyner, but if you can find the link I'd certainly have a look. I'm actually resident in Scotland, though! ;)

I have struggled with this, As someone stated how the internet is "the beast", I can definitely see a correlation to it,....

I am still remaining anynms, And you can do so in a forum, And i have been searching for a forum like this for quite some time.

I have disconnected from facebook, Twitter. In stagram, All of it,

While still going on here. Only m y second, post,......

I do have this sense of feeling as if the internet as a giant, is partially, The "Beast",.....

Correct. I have deactivated, From Facebook, An d can feel a drastic difference in how people interac t with you, As if it's somehow different than how it used to be. Also,
the last time i posted from here, I was on the duck duck go, server,
However i signed out of my account information, Because of Alexa being in my little tablet,...... It seems anywhere you go, Technology is there to follownand it's not like flying vehicles, Or rocket boots, But, it's internal microphones ,In devices that are necessary for every day purchases that you used to be able to find in person at a store, And devices that are constantly connected and sending out information like your gps tracker, And, etc,...

I already feel the difference, Using a silk browser to post this,

As opposed to duck duck, go,..................

I haven't stated gender, And i signed up male, However i know social media can take it's toll on young women, and can be susceptible to online bullying from other women and exposed to unnecessa ey things, f rom young men and it took me until i was almost com plete ly,

Out of my twenties, To finally realize that i dont need this, the internet, and a facebook account, In order to talk to people, And friends, If they are my friend, They will make an effort to see me, Outside of my facebook account, Or actually call me on the phone, To invite me somewhere,

A nd the res t of the 2 or so billion people, Who are signed up with this internet services, Arent exactly following that same mind set,
At least my small circle, Hasn't,........

Guess I'm a religious conservative female who's subjugating herself then.
go right ahead and enjoy . Personally I prefer not being treated as if I were a child, mentally deficient or as a puppet.

Yikes that's some ad hominem right there.

Got any examples of conservative groups treating women as mentally deficient, besides some random dude who maybe told you to go make a sandwich or something like that?

that whole women have to be submissive treated women as if they’re mentally deficient. If she’s right about some issue she still has to submit to a husband who might be wrong. That behavior isn’t respectful considerate or even intelligent. I’d just tell him that he’s wrong and discuss it . ( I’d ask a guy who tells me to make a sandwich , “why? Don’t you know how to make one? “
