It is written , in the NT, that EVERYONE (on earth today) starts out subject to the prince of the power of the air - as sons of disobedience. That's nothing special or new for Paul.

Kinda wondering myself

Lots of theories, about his thorn, no substance.

The timespan of his ministry is often not realised - reading Acts it can seem quite short but in reality many years.

I don't understand what you mean with this OP. Calling the Apostle Paul reprobate is not a good or accurate thing to say. Then you appear to go on and compliment him? Strange.

It is stated very clearly in Scripture.

I had a quick skim read... it raised some important issues.

Maybe as some are sealed for Salvation some are (through their foolishness) sealed for eternal separation from love.

Reading the context it was most likely that he was suffering from a medical condition, because he mentioned the support they gave him and his ministry when he was suffering from illness while ministering to them.

Many in the Calvinistic genre believe that because Paul wrote Romans 7 and uses "first person" that he was saying that he is the struggling sinner described. Of course, that is out of context as it is describing someone under the law as he once was as a Pharisee, but Jesus frees us from sin, therefore we don't need the law to tell us not to do something we have no desire to do, due to being born again of the divine nature, the Holy Spirit. But try to tell them that and it is like trying to talk to a brick wall. Nothing penetrates, even though if they would just keep reading, Romans 8 tells us that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ frees us from Romans 7's law of sin and death. I think they just want to justify their own struggle with sin instead of doing what is necessary to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Ezekiel 28:24

Judges 2:3
