Hi I always thought sunday was the sabath day but some people think the sabbath is on Saturday and now I don't know what day it realy is Saturday or sunday I always thought Sunday because God rested on the 7th day
Yahuweh did rest on the 7th day, and sanctified it - made it holy. And directed all His people likewise.

God rested on the 7th day. (now called saturday) from sundown friday to sundown saturday.

The Sabbath is, has always been and will always be on the 7th day...not on Sunday (the 1st day)

No, Sunday is the first day of the week. We worship on that day because it is the day the Lord rose from the grave and because the New Testament teaches that the early church chose it for the weekly worship services. However, Saturday technically remains the Sabbath and it is incorrect to say that the church moved the Sabbath day to some other day.

The ISO calendar that puts Sunday as the 7th day is revisionist. Saturday was celebrated by our Lord as Sabbath and that is good enough for me.

Biblically the Sabbath day is the day we call Saturday. It was then and it still is. Sunday is known as the "Lord's Day". The earliest Christians remained Jews and continued to worship in either the Synagogue or Temple on the Sabbath day. The custom arose that they would also have their own meeting on the following day which became known as the Lord's Day. Eventually the Christian Jews were expelled from the Synagogues and the Lord's Day became their only day of worship. This was eventually formalized into law. The Sabbath Day is still Saturday and always has been.

Huh I don't know it anymore what day does the bible say

The Bible does not say not everything is in the Bible nor is the Bible there to tell us everything, the Church tells us things too. Saturday Sabbath was for the Jews, the Christians chose the day Christ rose from the dead. It is so much better to start the week with Christ and began fresh.

The Israelites received a double portion of mana for the 7th day for 40 years in the wilderness, so they knew on which day God rested, they have been keeping it ever since, and the day that they have been keeping corresponds to between Friday at sundown and Saturday at sundown.

Saturday is the Sabbath . In Spanish , the word for Saturday is Sabado . 7th day adventist , Jews and other groups observe this day as a day of rest . In Acts 20:7 , it states " On the first day of the week when the disciples were gathered together to break bread , Paul preached to them ...etc. ( The first day of the week is Sunday . ) Now Paul states in Romans 14:5 that " One man esteem one day above another : another esteemeth every day alike . Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind . He that regards the day , regards it unto the Lord and he that does not regard the day , regards it not to the Lord .
I know that Jesus said that the Sabbath was made for man , not man for the Sabbath . We need a day of rest . The scriptures also say to Be ye Holy , for I am Holy . I believe every day is Holy whether I work , I work unto the Lord and if I do not work , I do not work unto the Lord ...Saturday and Sunday belong to the Lord ....as does Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday , etc.
Additionally , how do we know which day is actually Saturday with all of the calendar mix ups throughout the centuries . Get love right brother for that is the main thing and love is from God .

In Mark 7:6-9, Jesus criticized the Pharisees as being hypocrites for setting aside the commands of God in order to establish their own traditions, so there is nothing wrong with someone choosing to follow their own tradition of honoring the resurrection of Christ on Sunday in addition to following God's command to keep the Sabbath holy, but they should not hypocritically set aside God's command to keep the Sabbath holy in order to establish their own tradition. Christ kept the Sabbath holy, so that is also what we should do as his followers.

In Acts 20:7 , it states " On the first day of the week when the disciples were gathered together to break bread , Paul preached to them ...etc. ( The first day of the week is Sunday . )

In Acts 20:7, it is important to keep in mind that for Jews the day started at sundown, so a meeting on the first day of the week would have began on what we would refer to as Saturday at sundown. Jews have a longstanding tradition of meeting on the first day of the week for a Havdalah service on Saturday at sundown to mark the closing of the Sabbath and to welcome in the work week. Jews also traditionally didn't handle money on the Sabbath, so this was also a time when they would collect offerings. So Paul spoke from evening until midnight, not from morning until midnight, and then left on Sunday morning to travel. This does not establish that they met on Sunday morning, and even if they had, it wouldn't establish that this was the start of a new tradition, and even if it was, it wouldn't establish that they hypocritically set aside God's command to keep the Sabbath in order to establish their own tradition, and even if they had, it wouldn't establish that we should follow in their example of sin.

Now Paul states in Romans 14:5 that " One man esteem one day above another : another esteemeth every day alike . Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind . He that regards the day , regards it unto the Lord and he that does not regard the day , regards it not to the Lord .

The topic of Romans 14 is in regard to how to handle disputable matters of opinion, not in regard to whether followers of God should follow God, so nothing in the chapter should be interpreted as teaching us to rebel against what the Father has commanded. The Sabbath is not even mentioned in Romans 14 primarily because it had nothing to do with what Paul was speaking about in that chapter. In Romans 14:5-6, it is speaking about those who eat or refrain from eating unto the Lord, so it is speaking about those who esteem certain days for fasting as a matter of opinion, not about the commands of God. God gave no command to fast twice a week, but that had become a common practice in the 1st century, and those who esteems certain days for fasting were passing judgement on those who did not and were in turn being resented (Luke 18:12). They were even judging each other over which two days of the week to fast:

Didache 8:1 Let not your fasts be with the hypocrites, for they fast on Mondays and Thursdays, but do you fast on Wednesdays and Fridays.

So whether someone chooses to esteem certain days for fasting is a disputable matter of opinion, but whether someone chooses to obey God's command to keep the Sabbath holy is a matter of obedience to God.

I know that Jesus said that the Sabbath was made for man , not man for the Sabbath .

If you believe that God made the Sabbath for us, then that is all the more reason to keep it holy and to not spurn His precious gift.

We need a day of rest . The scriptures also say to Be ye Holy , for I am Holy .

In 1 Peter 1:16, we are told to have a holy conduct for God is holy, which is a quote from Leviticus where God was giving instructions for how to have a holy conduct, which straightforwardly includes keeping God's Sabbaths holy (Leviticus 19:2-3)

I believe every day is Holy whether I work , I work unto the Lord and if I do not work , I do not work unto the Lord ...Saturday and Sunday belong to the Lord ....as does Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday , etc.

Something that is holy is set apart and in order for something something to be set apart there needs to be something else that it is set apart from, so to treat every day in the same way is to treat none of them as holy. God did not instruct His followers to keep every day holy, but to keep the 7th day holy.

Additionally , how do we know which day is actually Saturday with all of the calendar mix ups throughout the centuries . Get love right brother for that is the main thing and love is from God .

The Israelites received a double portion of mana for the 7th day for 40 years in the wilderness, so they knew on which day God rested, they have been keeping it ever since, and the day that they have been keeping corresponds to between Friday at sundown and Saturday at sundown. In 1 John 5:3, to love God is to keep His commandments, which are not burdensome, so keeping the 7th day Sabbath holy is part of what it looks like to love God.

The Sabbath originally was just for the Jews. Eventually the covenant was broken and a long time later God instituted a new covenant first offered to Jews who would accept Christ, then to the rest of the world. All who would accept Christ ie: Christians, would have a new covenant and thus a new Sabbath for rest. It because a spiritual rest rather than a certain day where one rested. A Christians has this spiritual Sabbath always because Christ gives us rest every day. We can also take literal rest from work on any day since Christ is the current concept of a Sabbath.

Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Christ is our Sabbath rest now.

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath:
Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

The Sabbath was one of many things that were shadows of things to come which means they would be fulfilled and replaced with something much greater.

Heb 4:7 Much later God told David to make the promise again, just as I have already said, "If you hear his voice today, don't be stubborn!"
Heb 4:8 If Joshua had really given the people rest, there would not be any need for God to talk about another day of rest.
Heb 4:9 But God has promised us a Sabbath when we will rest, even though it has not yet come.
Heb 4:10 On that day God's people will rest from their work, just as God rested from his work.
Heb 4:11 We should do our best to enter that place of rest, so that none of us will disobey and miss going there, as they did.

Here the Sabbath is spoken as a place of rest, the eternity, when we will rest from all the struggles of life, sin and any hardships.

Hello, God certainly could have commanded His followers to rest on every day so that all work would be prohibited, but He did not. He commanded His followers to keep the 7th day Sabbath holy, so it becomes a matter of whether you are going to trust God to guide you in how you should live or whether you are going to do what is right in your own eyes.
