No, it shows that the tide turned against Nixon. Polls at the end showed that he should be impeached -- it just took several months to get there. What history tells us is that it was Republican Senators that convinced Nixon to resign, because they were going to vote to remove him from office. But, to use your words, you are probably right that Trump "won't be stupid;" he'll just sit there and rant and rave about the coup being done to him by Republican Senators as they vote to remove him from office. Yes, I know, we'll see what the investigation finds.

Yes, and OJ claimed he was going to find the murderer of his ex-wife -- and went golfing in Florida. You are trusting a man who has shown he is corrupt: paying off mistresses, fleecing people with his Trump University scheme, running a fake charity organization with his Trump Foundation, not to mention failing to pay contractors and waiting until they are forced to sue, then settling with them for far less because they can't afford a protracted lawsuit.

Funny, I haven't seen Trump (a person) mentioned in the Bible. Instead I see claims that there will be false prophets, and by their works you will know them. Sure, Trump isn't a prophet but he also doesn't do some of the most basic Christian things, like ask forgiveness of God (by his own admission). I feel confident in saying, despite the lip service and the Supreme Court nominations, that history will look back and see Trump hurt Christianity far more than he ever helped it.

I disagree. If your God exists and is as claimed He can (and has) used anyone, willing or not, to accomplish his plan.

Also if he can use Trump he can use ANYONE!

Whether He is using him or not, we don't yet know what he might be using "for" etc...

Could be using him as an example if he is to go down for example, we just don't know...

Or "something else", we just don't know...

God's specific and exact ways (plans, etc) for the world, this world, His world, are hard to know in every specific exact detail...
