I'm eager to see the kinds of defenses trump's minions will post here. They don't care about spending our tax money on this but heaven forbid we spend it on poor or sick or needy people or they whine "they're takin' muh munney!!!" But it's ok for a billionaire to take it.

Why can't we oppose both kinds of waste. Trump, Obama, Bushes, Clinton etc. all used and wasted incredible amounts of our money for things they should have been paying for themselves. When one of the Presidents becomes frugal and responsible with our money I will find that to be news. This is just the same old same old.

Sure we can. Show me proof of your allegations.

During the campaign, I recall that Trump claimed that he would be a "working president" and not be golfing all the time "like Obama".

Just another lie.

No way because he said he wouldn’t have time to play golf as president. I’d post the video but his vulgar language isn’t allowed on Christian Forums.

EDIT: I am wrong we do not rent the carts from Trump, Inc., we rent them from other vendors.
They don't make enough money to pay the expenses of travel away from the WH.
It does bug me though that Trump, Inc. is making money from our taxes. We are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars every year on just golf cart rentals for the Secret Service at Trump, Inc. owned golf coarses, and not just for Trump but for his kids, too. It would be less expensive to just buy golf carts for the Trump and family and the Secret Service.

Regardless of our stance on the President, at least pray for them, whoever they are, because God asked us to (1 Timothy 2:1). It's hard for some, not all, to pray when they picture the President. But when we picture Jesus requesting we follow His instruction, it should be a whole other picture. I am all for standing up for what one believes but please, post some factual data to back up your position, whether you're for or against the President. And ultimately, post "what" and "who" you feel are the solution to America's problems.

Trump's Golf Count... Trump Golf Count: 223*

Cost to Taxpayer: About $109,000,000

*Daytime visits to golf clubs since inauguration, with evidence of playing golf on at least 104 visits.

Our last recorded outing was on October 13, 2019.

Click on complete data table for a list of Trump's outings, or view our breakdown of total costs.

Read about the new GAO report on the cost of Trump's trips to Mar-a-Lago.

Apparently playing golf outside wasn't enough for Trump... he had a golf simulator installed inside the White House. The system cost about $50,000 and it was put in his personal living quarters.

President Trump installed a room-sized golf simulator at White House

Is there something I'm not understanding about golf? Is it really all that fun to play that you have to go all around the world to do it, or is it just that it can only be played at Trump's properties in other countries?

Either way, I'm tired of presidents who golf. Let the next president play chess or scrabble or something without so much overhead.

Buy the golf carts for everyone to USE. lol
We'll keep them for the next WH occupants to use, too.

One Trump, two Trump, three Trump, four
All Trumps make a split, so do many more
Over hill and highway, the Trump buggies go
Come along to bring you the Trump family show

Tra la la, tra la la, la
Tra la la, tra la la, la
Tra la la, tra la la, la
Tra la la, tra la la, la

Four Trumps, three Trumps, two Trumps, one
All Trumps playing in the bright warm sun
Flipping like a pancake, popping like a cork
Donald, Donald, Ivanka and Eric.

Tiger Woods was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

He has designed many golf courses across the country, Mexico, and one in Dubai.

Is golf a big deal, yeah it is.

Tell that to the folks who've gotten their britches in a bunch on account of AOC having spent her own money on her own hairdo but will defend their Donald spending millions upon millions of taxpayer money on his golf.

Not to mention that Donald promised repeatedly while campaigning that if elected he wouldn't golf. Of course I knew then that was another of his whoppers but he kept on saying it, folks back then bought it up.

Clinton did pretty good. The economy was good with Clinton and he almost paid off the national debt. Bush and Obama ran up a huge debt.

You should also be praying for Nancy Pelosi, Bernie Sanders, AOC, Mayor DeBlasio, President Maduro of Venezuela, Kim Jong Un of Korea, President Putin, etc. - are you? You are commanded to. Not just Trump alone, although there are many who pay for and to Trump, unfortunately.

I have given factual data to back up my position. Feel free to point out where I haven't if that's what you think instead of bearing false witness by suggesting I haven't. It's hard for some, but not all, to be honest and not imply that someone else is not using factual data.

I'm missing the part of your post where you post "what" and "who" you feel are the solution to America's problems. You demand it of others but you don't do it yourself. Why is that? Do you have different sets of rules for yourself and for others?

I remember that Trump made a big deal about his golfing with foreign leaders would serve as a means of diplomacy.

I also remember him having an outing with the Japanese President Abe. Anyone else remember other foreign politicians he practiced golfomacy on?

Hard to keep up with that all. Was that before or after he blew off meeting with Poland on account of Hurricane Dorian then played golf? Then congratulated Poland since learning facts was too much for him, and made warped remarks about the folks in the Bahamas who were distraught by that hurricane.

In all fairness Donald did want to have the Taliban come to Camp David the week of 9/11. He'd have played a round of golf or two then I'm sure.
