(Joke) Politics in heaven

A conservative, a liberal and an independent all died and went to heaven. At the pearly gates, St Peter asked each of them for a record of their lives on earth. The conservative replied, "I lowered taxes, cut spending, boosted defense and security,...". The liberal responded, "I raised taxes on corporations, cut taxes on the middle class...". When asked what his contributions were, the independent responded, "I undid what the other two did".
