This is for Christians and non Christians. Non Christians are encouraged to vote. This is not about who you are voting for, or who you think is the best person for the job, or who you think is more Christ like or best represents Christians values. It is a survey of one singular aspect - presidential polices and actions. For Christians please pick a candidate whose policies and actions best defend what you envision as biblical Christian values. For Non Christians please pick a candidate whose policies and actions best defend what you believe are likely biblical Christian values. If you run into a problem with the poll, feel free to add your own candidate, or vote and explain what you really meant, or make another poll that reflects your concerns.

None of them are shining stars, but the President has better supported christian causes than any of the Democrats vying for power...even if his personal morals are questionable.

Buttigieg is really the only one that frames his candidacy in religious terms and makes an appeal to his Christianity specifically, and even that is only in limited specific contexts. All the rest seem to take a much more secular approach to explaining policy positions and beliefs.

I wouldn’t say any one stands out as the most Christian, though.

I chose Buttigieg. I don't care if a presidential candidate is Christian or not, to be honest. I would vote for an Atheist or a Muslim or any other non-Christian if I thought a non-Christian was better suited for the presidency than a Democratic Christian candidate was. I mention Democratic because it's unlikely I will ever vote for another Republican again or at least not for one who supported Trump.

The original thread title said "Which Candidate best represents Christian values". I have finally figured out how to correct the title. It now shows as it should - "Which Candidate best defends Christian values". If the faulty title affected your vote please go and update your selection.

Bernie by far. The one who actually wants to protect and improve the life of the little guy not the monied interests and has no problem with rocking the boat to do so. Sounds a bit like someone..

You do make a point and also as the only Jewish declared candidate, he actually overlaps more than some might think or expect.

Dangit I thought I put her in there. Yes, I agree. It's a mistake not to have her in there but I can't change it unfortunately. I misspelled Buttigieg too and it looks really weird.

I don't want to say Donald Trump is the closest, because he supports the LGBT and is not strong in his position against abortion among other things, but I must because none of the other options are even a possibility in my mind.

Why are you concerned about a politician. Giving a false since of security? Christians should work on them selves. And not be concerned with liars trying to get a vote
