I got some good news. The people involved with Para Taekwondo got back to me. Because I have a hearing impairment I registered my details and I could be competing in the Deaflympics in 2021 if I am lucky. But its going to take time.

So how was ‘everyone’s’ summer?
My wife had a brain aneurysm repaired intravenously last spring. Totally awe inspiring procedure. The fact that they found it is a story in itself.
She flew her 86yo father up from Venezuela. He was here from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekends but was seriously sick practically the whole time. I believe if he hadn’t come to the U.S. he would of died due to their scarcity of medical provisions.
Hope others chime in and share their stories.

Wow Tigger...that's pretty intense...and also sounds like a couple of miracles...the first that her aneurysm was repaired, and the second that God worked it out for her dad to be here at the right time to get the medical help he needed.
My summer has been uneventful. Pretty much working as a baker and doing whatever else is needed at my brother's cafe, still building websites and doing occasional photoshoots on the side...had a trip to Ohio to see my Dad for my birthday...and that's pretty much it. Been working on various projects around the house, the most exciting being our bathroom overhaul. It's looking so much more modern and clean now and that makes me super happy.
Otherwise, just taking things day by day.
Hoping next week isn't as busy and perhaps I will actually remember to stop in and post here..

Yes I see God’s hand in the sequence of events concerning her procedure starting with how they discovered it. As most probably already know there are no symptoms leading up to an aneurysm rupturing. Typically they are realized when the person either dies or is left with serious brain damage.
I know the occurrences leading up to her general practitioner ordering the MRI that revealed the aneurysm don’t seem to correlate but she kept having bad dreams and waking up screaming (which freaked us both out) but she was having memory concerns also which motivated her to make the appointment to she a doctor.
Some call it coincidence and some call it providence
