Not sure what you mean by this. I use it for study sometimes, I find it a useful program to compare Bible versions and search across them quickly.

To the OP: good luck with that. E-Sword and most other free programs upload resources that are public domain, thus usually old. Most of the resources are going to predate the Pentecostal movement. Additionally, Pentecostalism was not known for producing academic literature until quite recently.

Esword is great, but for the most part, you are limited to public domain works, although they do offer some paid content I think. As another poster said, the vast amount of commentary and scholarly work is not pentecostal or charismatic in nature. This used to bother me but I've learned to glean from the various commentators, even though I don't always agree with them.
If you want Spirit-filled commentary, you have limited choices. I use a program called Accordance, which is a top notch Bible program with many, many modern resources. It isn't free, but you can do like I did, and start building a library. Over the past twenty years, I've accumulated a huge library in the program and I love to use it.
Accordance has Dakes Bible notes, and all of Dakes writings. If you are unfamiliar with him, he was a pentecostal preacher whose writings give strong support to healing and miracles. Accordance also offers the Fire Bible, which is a later edition of the Life in The Spirit Study Bible. This one is written by an Assembly of God missionary/scholar. In addition, they offer the Spirit Filled Commentary, which I have, but haven't used that much.
They also offer a systematic theology and commentaries on Acts and Corinthians by an Assembly of God scholar named Stanley Horton.
Another top Bible program is Logos. They offer Jack Hayfords Spirit Filled Life Study Bible which is excellent. They also offer a lot of study books by Jack Hayford. I believe they may have some other Pentecostal/Charismatic material, but I don't use Logos, so I'm less familiar.
To use one of the better programs, you have to make an investment. But if you are a serious student, I believe it's worth it.
These programs give you the ability to add your own notes and documents to the program, and I've used this to help close the gap for Charismatic material by adding notes from books I read or study, and also notes from sermons etc. The ability to add notes to any verse is so helpful.

Hi bob, It's been a while. A few days ago, the wife an I went to Walmart in Celina and purchased a Chromebook. I'm sure you recognize that city. As far as a spirit-filled commentary... I use StudyLight in which a guy by the name of Gary Everett Ministries quotes several Word of Faith and other Pentecostal/charismatic faiths in his comments. There are several commentaries on StudyLight and Gary Everett may be the only one with similar faith. Don't know many of the others.

"Good to hear from you." I lived my entire life... and retired from the City of Dufas, (I mean) City of Delphos. LOL

Hi bob, It's been a while. A few days ago, the wife an I went to Walmart in Celina and purchased a Chromebook. I'm sure you recognize that city.

Yup, we used to go to Celina Assembly of God for many years - until I got tangled up in the Charismatic outpouring back in '72 and wound up as members of the United Church of Christ in New Bremen, where I was an adult Sunday school teacher. It was interesting since the folks there weren't sure that the Bible was God's word. They'd ask a question that would be obvious to anybody who'd ever READ the Bible, but since they hadn't, sometimes the answer would take a whole session, since they had no infrastructure to even understand it. The AG, of course thought we'd backslid. The AG in those days was dead set AGAINST the Charismatic Outpouring. I don't even remember there being a Walmart in Celina - of course that WAS 40 years ago.

Is "The Church at Celina" still going on (it was an outreach of Hobart Freeman's "Glory Barn").

Seems to me I remember a "Gary Everett", but it's been too long. We left Ohio, and spent three years in Saline, MI (just South of Ann arbor), and then hopped to Dallas in '02.

As far as a spirit-filled commentary... I use StudyLight in which a guy by the name of Gary Everett Ministries quotes several Word of Faith and other Pentecostal/charismatic faiths in his comments.

Can't say I've ever run into "StudyLight".

Since we bought a cemetary plot here in Dallas, I probably won't move again (but you never know) I'm still holding at 13 heart attacks, two open hearts, one "Rotoblator Procedure" and 21 stents - still working full time at 77, and have no retirement plans.
