From Elizabeth Warren mocking religious males as incapable of finding a wife to Beto O’Rourke’s promise to strip tax benefits from religious institutions, or Cory Booker’s assertion that Catholics use religion to justify discrimination, you see the ugly face of militant secularism and coercion.

It is frightening that every one of the nine Democratic candidates who took part in the CNN event has signed up to extreme policies that attack religious liberty and radically redefine gender.

Comrades: Where is Democrat love for traditional marriage of one man, one female and one or two girlfriends? Presidential Trump will keep tradition marriage safe from perverted Evil Democrats. They tear fabric of curtains in America. They must be stopped!

Oh, the horror. I feel so persecuted by these terrible attempts at humour. This is almost as bad as that time when someone gave me a funny look, I don't know how you put up with such relentless assaults on your faith in the US.

Had to take a double look this morning.
For a moment there I thought I was on the
Unbelievers Fourm Site?

Seems I get taken there often?

There are ample Christians only areas here if you are so troubled by the presence of non-Christians.

Religious institutions shouldn't be tax-exempt. You want to boost the economy then tax them. That's billions of dollars more for the economy every year and less money in the pockets of charlatans on TV taking advantage of gullible people in desperate times.

But you also KNOW that if a conservative questioned if a liberal could find a real woman as a spouse it'd be viewed as a malicious put down now isn't that true?

I'm glad the farce of Democrats being for Christian values is not even being emphasized anymore. It is a problem in that it points to powerlessness Christianity is going through, that it's now not necessary for a politician to be Christian or at least pretend to be Christian in order to be elected. Those days are over for the Democrats.

I do wonder at Pete Buttigieg though. He seems to think he's actually living a Christian life.

As for me being a Christian I couldn't care less if religious institution were tax exempt. There can even be positives not to be. Keep in mind though churches do a lot to provide support in their communities with the funds they have. Take that away and the state will have to dish it out paying high wages for civil servants.

Several churches that I know do a lot of good works in poor foreign countries.

We sponsor several children in South America, should we not receive a tax break for that?

A lot of good gets done in this world

How is that a problem? That's the way it should be.

And it clearly wasn't a requirement for Trump. If you think that man is actually a Christian, I've got Two Corinthians who'd like to talk with you.

Trump supports Christian values more than any of the democrats running for 2020.
Just a proven fact.
M-Bob

And vice president Pence is a very nice Christian.
Democrats also can not hold a candle to him.

Well, duh. He has to, he needs the evangelical vote to win. And, to his credit, he's done a good job of playing them like a fiddle, getting them to vote for a vulgar, adultering, lying, egotistical heathen, the sort of person they'd condemn in just about any other situation.

I do wonder at Pete Buttigieg though. He seems to think he's actually living a Christian life.
All he has to do is go a few blocks north on BR 31 and talk to the priests at Notre Dame U. They could set him straight on that point in a hurry.

And if he wants a 2nd opinion, he could go to the south side and ask any of the pastoral staff at LeSEA's Christian Center. Or go to the Black Hat Orthodox Jewish community on High street.

they can all tell him how he is NOT living a godly or biblical lifestyle.

The point as I see it is the absurdity of Christians claiming persecution because people disagree with or make fun of them, or when the policies of a secular state aren’t to their advantage. It’s not a political point.

They can only destroy the building, even our body. But our spirit they can never destroy. I only fear the one that can destroy both.
