Sure, most all businesses charge every customer, cash or credit, the same. But that price might be inflated slightly to cover the transaction fees paid to the card company.

In today's economy, pretty much everyone needs a credit card. At least to establish a credit score. But never run a balance. Credit card interest is ruinous.

I never carry a balance. I'm called a "deadbeat" by the cc companies.

Same here. Another smart move is to know the closing date of your billing cycle. You want to make purchases--especially larger ones--immediately after that date. Each billing period is usually 28 days. And then you have a 22-23 day grace period to pay the account before you'll be charged interest. Buying items right after the closing date--and then paying it off in full on the due date gives you essentially a 50 day interest-free loan. Not too shabby.

So last year the wife and I bought an Audi A3. We paid in cash, because I had the cash available and financing is for chumps.

Did you finally get to see the special cruise control that allows Audi drivers to travel 5 cm from the bumper of the car in front? :p

It's sometimes unfair that the rules require I address the post and not the poster...but the disgusting post speaks for itself anyway.

Maybe I took it the wrong way, but I saw it as an attempt to show how being well off gives you perks that poor people can't access, and that help you be even better off.

For example high end credit cards give you free travel insurance, compensate you for airline delays, give additional warranty on purchased items, discounts at hotels etc. Essentially if you have one you can spend less to take the exact same holiday as someone who doesn't earn enough to get that card.

If you have a good income you can access money short-term for less interest, and you'll never need a high interest payday loan. Banks will give you better home loan rates. for the exact same house if you're better off. etc. etc.

Well yeah, but all that goes without saying. We all know that. Life is unfair. I honestly saw no point in the OP other than the OP wanted to brag that he's well off, and rub it in the faces of those who are not so well off.
