You seriously saying that it doesn't matter that errors in the KJV which, if JS were a true prophet of God, should not have had in his "more accurate" version---are OK because someone would have complained anyway?? What kind of totally weird statement is that? In other words---it doesn't matter if JS is a proven false prophet, he is what you wish to believe in, true or not. So it truly is not truth you are after, but to continue to believe in JS--not matter what. Of, course, that is fine, you have a right to do so, but have you no thought at all for those who are being deceived? Who do want to know the truth and you are now part of the deception keeping them from it. Is that why you just constantly drone on with your commandments rhetoric and JS is a true prophet stuff---It's just talk that feeds your need to stay the same? 'Cause if you ever stopped to really think it through and see all the proves that he is not a true prophet you would have to turn your whole life upside down and inside out and that would be just too
much to do at this stage of the game? Truth is not a matter of pleasing everyone. It is between the person and God.To disregard lies, is just as bad as disregarding the truth.

Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. God already told him that there were errors in the Bible. There were people who didn't agree. There are still people who say the Bible has no errors. So which is it? I already have found out for myself that The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is the true church. It has been proven to me. I continue to plead for people to keep the commandments because that is the way to eternal life according to Jesus Christ:
(New Testament | Matthew 19:17 - 19)
17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

God tells him there are errors in the bible, but He doesn't correct them??! Jesus is the ONE AND ONLY Son of the Father, He has no grandfather. The Holy Spirit is everywhere at the same time there is no heavenly mother, Adam and Eve could have had children had they not fallen, there is no preexistence of man, the Father was never human nor ever died. Jesus created from nothing. Believe anything else and you worship a false God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and are breaking the commandments.

I am posting to those who do not believe that keeping the commandments and works are necessary for salvation. People can overcome sin and learn to LOVE one another:
(New Testament | John 5:14)
14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

Here's the irony - by your church requiring works for your salvation, you are doing just the opposite of what Jesus Christ taught. So, by your works you are denying His work. Hence, my comment is true.

Most of these things are the precepts of man. They are not Biblical except perhaps the one about the Holy Spirit. Eve is in the likeness of her mother.
God the Father spoke these words to His wife:
(Old Testament | Genesis 1:26 - 27)
26 ¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Then they created them:
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

I am mulling over reporting it to a mod as a kind of actual spamming because it so shuts down any discussion, though I don't know what if any good that might do, since spamming with the Bible might be given wider latitude here on account of how many people may think that this is somehow a legitimate thing to do. (You know, the whole "The Bible contains these words, and they are the words I used, so ta-da: I'm right, and you're the devil's cabana boy" way of thinking where nobody has to actually defend their position with any kind of reasoning or reflection upon what the words themselves mean, and why they mean that and not what someone else says they mean. The "debate" part of being a debate forum, which HITW's method handily avoids participating in.)
