All parents of teenagers should have a dog. That way there will always be something happy that you came home.

She doesn't bow down to the radical political right, who have made death threats against her for being her. Or to those on the "radical left" who have criticized her for her friendship with President and Mrs Bush. She's been friendly with both presidents for a long time if not friends. She had President Obama on several times and did this super sweet tribute to him to thank him for his awesome service to the country when he left office. She had Pres Bush and Mrs Bush on this really endearing segment with a little girl who is a presidential expert. The little girl loved them, they loved her, they were all sending love to Ellen. It was nice! President Bush and the little girl made a painting together of Ellen as a gift for her. This was a while ago, btw, without people on the "radical left" making any kind of fuss that got public attn.

Yes there will be many more to follow in her footsteps. There are many who already have. President Obama awarded her with the highest civilian honour for the example she has long set with her kindness. But for some, they are committed to having their blinders on.
