You seem to be saying that there's no difference between the people you share a culture and society and nation with....and just anyone from anywhere.
Weird you'd think that, given I never mentioned culture, society or a nation in my post.

Politicians from both parties for some of the same reasons. Both think they can get the votes from the illegals (for different reasons) and both want cheaper labor for their big campaign contributors. I think that pretty much covers it unless you want to insinuate politicians are as pure as the driven snow?
You did not answer my question and I think you made up the claim that politicians want open borders. Please provide evidence that any politician wants to let anyone in, with no checks at all.

It seems really odd, not to mention disturbing, that some American Christians “justify” clear disobedience to Good Samaritan principles by arguing that the US is a effectively a secular nation. Reminds me of how some defend your President’s atrocious morals and behaviour by claiming “he is a national leader not a pastor”.

Well you mentioned all these people who are a part of those things....

As if being born here isn't a distinction. It is...it's a pretty big distinction.

It's the difference between people who share interests and values and people who don't.

Given every single person ever born is member of at least one of a group of those sorts of thing, I'm not sure that's enough to go on. I mean, they're also all mammals but it isn't like you latched on to me somehow wanting to divert the conversation to biology or something.

As if being born here isn't a distinction. It is...it's a pretty big distinction.

Certainly in the view of some people. I'd be curious if they can explain why.

It's the difference between people who share interests and values and people who don't.

I don't see the connection. I share more interests and values with foreign-born co-workers than I do with people who, say, were born here and complain about other people getting government assistance while they themselves take full advantage of it.

Sure....but not yours. I know it's fashionable to like every culture, society, and nation except yours right now. When it comes to the survival of those things though, you can't prioritize everyone else's.

See above.

Then leave. Go live in that foreign country you identify with so much.

Sure....but not yours.

Still doesn't explain the massive change of topic.

I know it's fashionable to like every culture, society, and nation except yours right now.

I'm not sure "know" is the correct word to use here.

See above.

Yep, not seeing much that makes any sense, except for vague allusions to "them" not sharing the proper culture or something. I guess I'm not current enough on alt-right memes to know what this is referring to.

Then leave. Go live in that foreign country you identify with so much.

Oh, there it is. LOL - I get it, go back to where I came from if I don't prefer being around people exclusively of my own ethnic background. Nothing suspicious there.

But anyway, I never said anything about identifying with a foreign country. I was talking about sharing some interests and values with other US citizens who live right here in this country. Weird you jumped to that meaning I don't identify with the US. I mean, what could have motivated you to think that having a connection with someone of a different race would mean that I preferred a foreign country?

California welcomes all illegal border jumpers.
Politicians support that here.
All are welcome -- come come.

Name one politician who advocates for open borders. With evidence, please.
