There were prior impeachment inquiries? Do tell.

Why should the details of an investigation possibly leading to a formal impeachment inquiry be made available in real time? If Articles of Impeachment are eventually voted and the matter goes to the Senate, all details will be made known and all witnesses available for testimony and cross-examination. No cover up is possible.

LOL, as Kimberly Strassel uses the media to sell her new book and uses the media to even have material to write a book.
At least the late night comedians are honest about making money off the President, the Congress, the election, etc.

That's not really accurate. The Senate makes the rules for the trial and how it will be conducted. I say that because of how the Clinton Senate trial was run. There aren't any set rules for an impeachment trial.

Still, I don't see how it would be possible to try such a case without detailing the charges and the evidentiary basis for them.

I don't think Trump needs any help in being destroyed by an outside force because he's doing a good job of it all by himself. It's so evident that maliciousness and habitual lying spews from his mouth like raging river rapids. He is definitely known by the known by the rotten fruit he bears in his life, which among many include hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, and selfish ambition (Galatians 5:19-21).

That is rediculous. All one has to do is listen to Trump's own words to know he has no respect for the constitution, which he swore to uphold, no respect for the rule of law, no love or concern for anyone but himself...he never should have been president. He was never democratically elected. And he is a bad example in every way on how to be a decent human being. He should be in prison.

Since when did the mainstream media pursue the truth? This idea is a gross misapprehension. And simply false. However much it is an oft repeated claim.

The mainstream media consists almost entirely of commercial entities, whose primary aim is to make money. Bad news (war, mass killings, violence, badmouthing people, gossip, etc.) and sensationalism (especially "sexsationalism") supported heavily by advertisements/product or service propaganda (now taking on the claim to be "informationals") together have been shown to be good money-makers.

Assuming the majority of people on CF believe in Jesus Christ, the quoted statement would mean that the mainstream media could be expected to promote Jesus Christ (the way, the truth and the life) far more than anything else. This is simply not the case.

Trump has been on a relentless crusade to destroy Trump. All the media has to do is just show what he's done. Nobody ever has or ever could make him look more incompetent, guilty & corrupt than he has.

Most ppl don't wrap their personal happiness around Trump, lol. They care about the country, about the world so they want him removed bc of the huge harm he inflicts.

A lot of ppl in Trump's base OTOH define themselves through him. It's what blows me away when I come here. Bc I mean at least with you you're old, retired, have got to the point in your life when you have reason to have time on your hands. So I just kinda like read your stuff w amusement bc of that. But there's also ppl who are middle aged, not young like me or old like you, who are here all day every day in the middle of the work day putting so much of themselves into defending him, attacking his critics & opponents.
