Al Gore is still waiting in the wings. After all, he won the popular vote in 2000 and if not for the Palm Beach Co. Democratic Clerk creating the confusing butterfly ballot, he would have won FL and the Presidency. That is not my thesis, but that of Pat Buchanan, who said back in 2000 that he received about three times the votes in Palm Beach County on a percentage basis, than in the rest of FL's counties.

Right wing people know deep inside that Trump is going to lead them into a landslide defeat next year. This whole Hillary thing is just their way of deflecting from the inevitable crushing humiliation to come.

I think the kind thing to do is to just smile and nod. Yes the Democrats will certainly pick the one person in the world who could lose to Trump again. Sure guys, it’s going to happen any time now. Just tap those ruby slippers together and wish really hard..

Careful. The Democrats are masters of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

They hope she will go away, knowing what a mess their already messy primary campaign struggle is.

Wow. Where did that fantasy come from?

She had her chances in 2008 and 2016, but having blown both of them and not gotten any younger or more appealing in the time since, she certainly doesn't strike fear into anyone "on the right." And if she cannot beat Trump, I doubt that she can win the Democrat nomination either.

Incidentally, Bannon's basic analysis may well be correct--even to the point of Hillary declaring her candidacy. After all, if circumstances are making the appearance of a new candidate attractive, who else do they have??

Yes from what I've heard from pundits it looks like she has been almost flying trial balloons with her various speeches, press releases where she floats new reasons why she lost in 2016 and it seems like she is toying with the idea of coming back. Frankly, I wish she would come back in because under Obama I think she got away with murder and I think some of her malfeasance may come back to haunt her the way the impeachment thing has backfired on Biden.

Democrats are not going to select a candidate based on the wishes of Steve Bannon. Each and every one of the current candidaates would be substantially be more capable and have more integrity than Trump. We could throw a dart at the board (velcro, of course) and anyplace it hit would produce a better candidate.

We don't want Bannon's input.

That'd be great, a Hillary-Gore ticket ... or maybe a Gore-Hillary ticket. :)

i really hope hillary tries it again. i'd love a repeat of 2016 reactions. :D
What'd be really funny is if she runs again and wins both the EC and popular vote.

Then we'd really see some heads explode! ^_^

Considering that Hillary has lost twice now, winning after the third attempt seems unlikely.

It's possible she learned from prior mistakes but such learning usually requires humility, a quality not often exhibited by Hillary.
