Trump is on them? Lol. No, Trump made an extraordinarily terrible decision flippantly. Without having any respect at all to think through the consequences, seek wise counsel. One that is literally life and death and is a massive betrayal. Now that he's been universally condemned - even had Pat Robertson say he was losing his mandate for heaven bc it was on that level of evil - he's trying to backtrack. That's like after going from one brothel house to another trying to reclaim virginity. It doesn't work that way.

When something is a hot mess you don't just go and grab some gasoline and matches to enjoy yourself making it hotter, messier, and much more harmful to innocent people unless you are a sociopath.

Yes by all means thank God you don't live in the Middle East. There are innocents living there through no fault at all of their own who will be harmed. Their lives should be more important to Christians than Trump's ego.

Trump has a lot more information then we do. It looks like he was given the opportunity to get our troops out of harms way and he took advantage of that. "Those who run away live to fight another day". Perhaps he felt allowing a surgical strike would in the long run save lives. Ishmael's descendants, had always been a thorn in the side of their neighbors. There are going to be conflicts in the Middle East and we have to pick a president that we feel can handle this situation. Do we have more confidence in Trump or Biden?

If he has "a lot more information" why were the military, republicans, etc. so opposed? Since virtually everyone but his loyal partisans totally were repulsed by this, curious as to where this information came from? Perhaps he was once again relying on his "great and unmatched wisdom"...sadly failed again as usual! Then of course if this was such a "wise" decision why is he almost immediately threatening Turkey? Foreign policy by surprise...great planning and thought! (Perhaps he now knows exactly what he was warned about after his knee-jerk action)

I'm in support of leaders making decisions of grave, life and death consequences the way a functional adult should, after thorough deliberation and consultation with those who have expertise. Instead Trump treated it flippantly, carelessly, stupidly, with zero respect, and total disregard and indifference for the harm he would cause. He of course was not physically hurt by his callous recklessness but now that his ego has been burned due to the worldwide condemnation (though not from Putin - this is yet another gift Trump is giving him) he is wanting to retract what cannot be retracted.

Your gratitude towards him for this is on par with wanting to be sure to pat the back of the arsonist who started a deadly wildfire for deciding he wouldn't throw out any more matches.

Trump has access to a lot more information to then we do but is infamous for not bothering to actually utilize any of it, hence the reason he repeatedly makes massively ignorant and reckless mistakes. It's why General Mattis, Brett McGurk, and so many others who actually served and actually possess a clue have no confidence in Trump's "leadership."
