Are there any regrets that you have from your younger days?

Focus on your one career goal.
and save 10% of all your income for an independent income source later.

I'm not old but of course there have been errors made in my life.

The best advice I can give is make sure you're saved and be sure that God is involved in all the choices you make in life.

This is the advice I'd give to my children:
Focus in understanding the meaning of the Cross. Live at the Cross, because what Jesus did for us is bigger than what we can imagine. Pursue the revelation that through Christ you are a son of God if you believe in Him, spend your whole life believing it; Pursue the revelation of God's love for you even when you don't understand it, even if what you read in the Bible doesn't make sense, even if you don't feel it, even if your circumstances tell you otherwise and even if most of the world is against you (even the church), never stop pursuing His love, and accept it. Always seek the Kingdom of Heaven first (seek to understand it) and its righteousness (what Jesus did for you) and everything else will fall into place.

I regret falling into belief in the false doctrine of Soul Sleep from 1973 to 1990.

It is great to now know that I can simply give somebody the book by Pastor Todd Burpo about his son's near death experience in order to give them something that they can work with in their own time.

Yes, it would be smart to keep some savings, something that I must do. Thank you for your response. I have a question though. I do have career aspiriations, my first path going to university. The problem is I wonder if God makes my path different or has other plans for me. Thus, I feel like no matter what I plan, God's will is going to be done in my life either way as long as I remain in him. I think there is some scripture for this but unsure as to where.

Make the most of church. Best piece of advice I have ever heard!
Thank you for your response. I have always found it difficult to find the right church, although admittedly I have only been to a few Catholic and a Pentecostal. Both I did not like. I did prefer the Catholic churches out of the two denominations. How did you find your church? Have you been to many other churches? Do you think that it is important to go to church, if so, why?

Thank you for your response. How did you first get into theology? Where would you say is a good place to start?

The best advice I've ever received is have fun and make memories in your 20s and don't worry about college and a career until your 30s.
Very optimistic! I think that it is important to make memories, especially with those dear to you. I think that it would be wise to focus on your Goals, be it Gods will. I have fun reading the Bible :)

Thank you, Sir :)

This is really important and I am glad you mentioned this. It made me realise about how important it is to accept God into your life. I think that God is amazing and we are grateful to have such a loving, patient, kind and just God.

Thank you, Miss. I am trying to lean on God in everything that I do, at times it can be difficult. Do you know of any scripture that might help to get through hard times and to live whole-heartedly for Jesus? What does "living at the cross" mean, or alternatively, "picking up your cross".

"Never stop pursuing His love, and accept it" -
Beautiful and true, thank you.

The truth is, I have never known what happens after we die. Some people say we "sleep", whilst others say that we go straight to heaven or hell. It confuses me.

Are you ever skeptical about these testimonies by these people who claim they have gone to heaven or experienced the supernatural? I can not remember where but I remember reading scripture saying how nobody has ever seen what God has prepared for them. I often feel really cautious about whether they are telling the truth, and often pass it as being a chance for them to gain money (there are so many).

Why do you believe that we go straight to heaven or hell? Is there any scripture for this, this has always annoyed me and I would like to understand, thank you, sir.

Sometimes saying nothing is the best way to show love.

Thank you, sir. I was on an article last night which was giving advice to younger Christians. This actually came up. I suppose it is makes sense. Actions speak louder than words, and sometimes people may not need a word but a shoulder to cry on.

This is a good question.

I was baptized in Church at 4/5 months old. I used to attend a Bible Study group as well at my childhood church from the age of eight until I turned sixteen when I stopped. My son and daughter were also baptized four months after they were born and welcomed into the Church. We are a churchgoing family. I have attended many church parties over the years and services. I love the sense of community that is prevalent in my local church.

I need to meet like minded folks and have fun. I've only been to this church and the one in PA where I was born. Planning to visit another church later this year with a friend however for her wedding.
