ANTIFA ASSAULTS PEOPLE LEAVING TRUMP RALLY AND HARASSES POLICE

The radical left is vulgar, violent and racist in actions to people who disagree with them. it is one thing to protest a political rally, it is another thing to chase down and verbally and physically assault the attendees.

Pssst, I don't know if you know this but, Antifa aren't the Democrats.

They don't have the same policies, objectives or methods. They don't have the same people.

Hopefully this saves you from future embarrassing statements.

Glad I could help. You're welcome.

Past, I don't know if you know this but, Antifa aren't the Democrats.

They sure are not Republican. They shout the political partisan bikinis of the left, they support Democratic candidates, objectives and goals.

Antifa are very much the face of the far left Democratic Party.

Glad I could help, you are welcome also.

JEWS WILL NOT REPLACE US!
BLOOD AND SOIL!

These people shout the political partisan bikinis (never heard that in this context) of the right, they support Republican candidates, especially Trump, objectives and goals.

Are you willing to embrace the Neo-Nazis?

HisLegacy would be deeply insulted if you described them as the face of the Republican Party.

This is a bit unclear. Are you calling the Democratic Party “far left” and antifa are the face of it (the entire party) or are you saying that antifa are the face of the far left fringe of the Democratic Party?

There’s a significant contextual difference between these two points.
If it’s the latter I agree they are much like how neo-nazis are at the far extreme fringes of the right wing.

I think we can all agree that neither of these groups represent the much larger political left/right factions they each fall under.

I still don’t see how the actions of members of either group would cause people to change their vote a certain way.

Why would Antifa’s actions change who I choose to vote for?

You might want to reconsider that if Antifa said they could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and they wouldn't lose any voters OR said "Knock the crap out of them and I'll pay your legal fees" OR suggested that the "Second Amendment People" could act against a rival political opponent. But as we already know, only Trump gets a pass by his supporters for inciting violence.

See, you should be embarrassed by being so wrong, but you aren't. Instead, you go on the counter offensive.

This, I suspect, is a large part of the reason President Trump was elected. Being called out by those with greater knowledge, or v informed that their views are incorrect, makes people feel bad. There are several ways to react to this, one of which you've just demonstrated.

Here, the psychology of US society and tribalism coming into play, particularly with regard certain segments of the right side of US politics. Here there tends to be an exceptionally high level of (unearned) confidence in their own opinions, which is usually accompanied by a general unwillingness to acknowledge mistake or do the hard cognitive work to become well informed.

As such, the ignorant sought a similarly delusionally confident, like minded figure to rally around.

They are factually far left, well, as far as Wiki represents a fact. I'm not sure they wind up being the face of the democratic party though. The party seems very diverse right now. Trump often likes to define their "face", like calling AOC/Omar their face, but I think this is a political strategy to try to pin those people as the face of the party in the eyes of voters.

When it comes down to mocking the poster instead of addressing the subject of the thread there are some real experts here.

Antifa. Formed as part of RESIST. Anti Trump. anti right conservative, anti Republican in their words and actions

Plain and simple to see.

Maxine Water tells her followers to confront Republicans where they eat, shop, get gas and where they live. Antifa does just that and then some.

Black boot thugs burn the American flag, destroy public property, attempt to stop conservative speeches and assault people coming out of Republican events.

They curse, use weapons and injure people from the right.

That is their history and that is what they are still doing

And not ONE Democratic Congress Person has disavowed themselves not publicaly spoken against them, beyond a passing mention.

The radical anything is by definition radical. To then make it out like everybody who would vote for a Democrat is on the radical left is as dumb and dishonest as making it out like everybody willing to vote for Trump has the same mentality as Heather Heyer's bomber and the pipe bomber living in the van covered with Trump paraphernalia.

I think your post missed talking about Hillary and her e-mails.

Which is the smart move, to not feed trolls. The word is spelled publicly, btw.

I wonder if that's the real reason why so many conservatives have never denounced Trump whenever he incited violence (such as suggesting that the "Second Amendment people" could act against Hillary Clinton if she got elected) or whenever he posts another one of his fits of rage tweets on Twitter and viciously attacks anyone that he personally despises. Maybe they didn't want to "feed the troll"?

Well that’s immediately and completely wrong. Anti-Fa have been around since the 70’s, fighting against any resurgence of fascism that arises. Back then they were fighting skinheads who were beating up ethnic minorities and homosexuals for sport. Since then they’ve taken up violent resistance against any pro-fascist groups that attempt to use violence against the vulnerable.

Personally I’m a big fan. I totally understand why you might not be, but if you’re going to attack them then at least do it accurately, and don’t pretend they’re some recent anti-Trump movement.

I think the Star Tribune, the local paper, is most likely to be true and accurate.

Police say the arrest was for damage to property and the citation was for disorderly conduct.

Several thousand people protested outside Target Center on Thursday as Trump spoke inside. Chief Medaria Arradondo says the protests were largely peaceful, but some people were aggressive or behaved illegally.
Minneapolis police arrest 1, cite 1 in Trump rally protest

They will now have to put extra security in the Somalian neighborhoods after the attendees listened to Trump's lambasting the Somalis. After all, look what happened in El Paso after Trump spread his message of hatred and division there.
