And as it is written Jeff 'their upraised arm shall be broken'. Is there any wickedness that grace cannot overcome? What about all those foundational Bible promises I listed? Retributive language, restorative purpose.

The wicked repent Jeff and are born again in Christ. In the time of paliggenesis of all things (Mt 19:28), the apokatastasis of which the prophets spoke (Acts 3:21), the washing and new birth in the holy spirit (Tit 3:5) which shall indeed come to pass (Rev 21:5).

Creation in toto will be baptised anew with fire and the spirit, absolutely absolved in the assaying ablutions of the Almighty. It's the holy fire, not the bbq-grill Jeff. The scriptures won't work otherwise.

Repent of the bitterness you're harbouring Jeff, repent of the leaven of the Pharisees. At least dare to hope and pray for salvation of your enemies, lest hot coals be heaped on your head.

The righteous do good works … while the unrighteous are lacking in doing good works.
The goats are the unrighteous who get cast into the fire.

Believers who do NOT (continue to) abide in Jesus do NOT bear fruit and are thrown into the fire!

Those who do NOT bear good fruit are thrown into the fire.
The chaff is separated from the wheat and is thrown into the fire.

The just are the righteous … the wicked are the unrighteous.

Doubt not the power of God. His wrath abides on the self-righteous, the consequences of that rebellion lead to calamity (the wages of sin), which in turn leads to salvation (Jesus comes to save), and produces transformative repentance and humility (the fruits of the spirit). All these coalesce in a single moment where the kingdom is revealed on Earth at Calvary. We eagerly await his return.

This is the underlying narrative pattern found throughout scripture, it is the Christological, Christotelic and Christocentric message, the mighty covenant work of grace that will inevitably bring in the fullness of salvation. I hope you'll bathe in it.

…..Rev 20:14 says death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. Death is the point in time end of life, it has no physical presence and cannot be literally thrown anywhere. Since neither death nor hell could or have died a first death they can’t die a second death. But there is a scriptural answer which does not involve jumping through hoops mixing literal and figurative in one sentence, there is a death and hell which can be thrown into the LOF.
My name for these two beings are the angel of death and the demon of hell. They are thrown into the LOF and their power to kill ended.
