No, the Bible speaks with authority, and continues to do so because its never been proven wrong, not once.

This is far less impressive given how much relative interpretation of the Bible there is.

I don't know about your case because I don't remember what you quoted, but it is very common.

"There is no God." --Psalm 14:1
I was just referring to creationist quotes generally - IM had laughably claimed that creationists quoted biologists who wrote approvingly of creationism.

I'm starting to hear scrambling.

Must be your own feet.
Really, you're not breaking new ground on anything in this thread, and it's clear that any attempt by you to try and make anyone question evolution is really just you repeating your own religious views.
Like... really, why do you take issue with the fact that humans are biologically animals? Why is that such an issue with you that you have to try and separate man from them?

I’m not trying to break new ground or make anyone question ‘micro evolution.’ I have repeatedly said in these threads that there is no question that evolution happens to a certain extent (in the form of adaptations within parameters, and they’ve been observed), but beyond that ‘macro evolution’ is merely interpreting evidence in an unobservable way… and it’s only speculation and ‘connecting dots’ at best, it’s not proof.

Christians shouldn't let evolutionary science create doubt in the Bible regarding God's creation of man. There is zero proof that species gradually appear through a slow transformation from a common ancestor (something other than man). In fact, you could say its science fiction because it has not been observed happening, and there is no way to test it, thus it cannot be confirmed. So, people should speak up, and not be ashamed or be made to feel stupid if they believe in Creation. That’s my issue here.

It's well beyond speculation. There are things in biology that only make sense from the perspective of shared ancestry.

And much as you keep trying to project your own disbelief onto others, it's not going to accomplish anything here.

There is zero proof that species gradually appear through a slow transformation from a common ancestor (something other than man). In fact, you could say its science fiction because it has not been observed happening, and there is no way to test it, thus it cannot be confirmed.

This only confirms that you don't understand the science behind evolution. Not everything has to be observed in real-time in order to be tested. In the case of the evolutionary history of life on Earth, it is tested by way of the evidence left behind of the process of evolution (which we do observe in real-time in modern populations).

So, people should speak up, and not be ashamed or be made to feel stupid if they believe in Creation. That’s my issue here.

The problem is that most creationists have little to no understanding of the science they are trying to argue against and no desire to educate themselves. They are their own worst enemy in that regard.

Even your own comment about "no way to test [macroevolution]" reveals a fundamental lack of understanding of how science works. If you don't want to be perceived as ignorant of these things, then the onus is on you to educate yourself.

It can be, and is, tested. Repeatedly. Literally millions of times. As surely as you can test the relationships of people.

The fact that you can't understand how they do this does not mean nobody else can.

That message is for you too.
I think it's an admirable goal to aim for. The difference between you and me is that, when I find those people, I listen and try to learn rather than belittle and refuse to learn.

And that makes it so?

I'm just enjoying discussions and learning.

This only confirms that you don't understand the science behind evolution. Not everything has to be observed in real-time in order to be tested. In the case of the evolutionary history of life on Earth, it is tested by way of the evidence left behind of the process of evolution (which we do observe in real-time in modern populations).
Please give me a break with the lack of knowledge stuff. Evidence left behind is evidence left behind and can be observed, yes, but the actual situation can't be determined without some speculation.

The problem is that most creationists have little to no understanding of the science they are trying to argue against and no desire to educate themselves. They are their own worst enemy in that regard.
Do you actually think I would spend months on end here if I wasn't trying to learn? If it was otherwise, I'd have tired of it long ago.

Even your own comment about "no way to test [macroevolution]" reveals a fundamental lack of understanding of how science works. If you don't want to be perceived as ignorant of these things, then the onus is on you to educate yourself.
Don't you think this concise answer to one of your questions above, "Evidence left behind is evidence left behind and can be observed, yes, but the actual situation can't be determined without some speculation" displays some understanding of things? You're not going to get a book out of me.

You need to work a lot harder on your communication skills, then. I'd also suggest that you ought to try learning from those trying to educate you and stop belittling what they have to say.

So you really have no genuine reason for this sort of thread. You have no desire to learn about what you rail against and your entire issue is clearly just a religious one.
All right then. You really should just say so in the future.

We could all stand some of that improvement... don't you think?

Yes, I have my opinion and disagree with you a lot, and I don't care to speak up.

You have no desire to learn about what you rail against and your entire issue is clearly just a religious one.
That's not true. Again, "Do you actually think I would spend months on end here if I wasn't trying to learn? If it was otherwise, I'd have tired of it long ago."

Except you never show any sign of learning. You repeat the same ignorant claims about evolution even when you've been corrected, keep repeating that it's akin to a religion when you've been shown it's not.
You don't learn. If you did learn, you wouldn't be making so many of these insipid threads of yours.

Science isnt open for ”opinions”. Its all about data and facts.
