Wow, what a dream!

(Just in case, if you are not already doing so, it is so very good to pray the prayer Christ said to you and me to pray each day in Matthew chapter 6, for our aid.) This prayer He told us to pray includes not only some key deep things we need, but also includes help against things that can go wrong on a deeper level for us.

The level of effort that we could put forth a decade ago may not be enough soon.......

For me.. "scary" is fear and God does not use fear. The enemy does give us dreams all the time also.

You know.. reminded me I had one just the other night. It was all snow everywhere. In some kind of nice jeep. There was this cliff to the right and as I was turning I saw a wolf and a bear way down there. Well as I was turning the jeep went over the cliff. My wife was with me in the jeep. There was no fear in me. I thought I was going to die. But.. lol.. it slowed and slowed to a float and then juuuuuuust touched down. My thinking then? Great.. going to get eaten by some wolf. haha

It makes me think of our inner person. We keep trying to tidy things up but then on their own they just go back to doing what we've always done. The same bad habits, the same bad actions and attitudes. Then we tidy them up again, only to have them do the same thing over and over and over again.

Ask God to show you your inner person (your house) and what things in you need to "be tidied/cleaned up" Ask God to help you trust Him to help you clean those things up to the point that they stay cleaned. Trust me, just as one thing gets tidied, another thing will show up but you don't have to keep going over and over again the same stuff aganin and again.

As Paul points out in Rom 7:15-20, while we can expect the "untidy" to try and take over us we do not have to just let it. (I paraphrased it ). We have help through Messiah Yeshua.

The house is usually your life and your walk in the context of living in your body. You are trying to keep clean and have a good walk, but you (like all believers) struggle with your walk. And like all believers you have victories and your have defeats. You worry about this and wonder how God sees you in it.
He sees you through Christ. Keep up your prayerful confession. He already knows so confess your weaknesses and failures. He is Faithful and He is just to forgive you and cleanse you (and your house) from all unrighteousness. This is the normal Christian walk. This is everybody. He will always forgive you and always stay with you. Remember HE is the one who is always faithful to forgive you based on justice. That justice is based on His suffering and death which payed for and took away the sin of the world... especially yours!

As long as you are troubled by sin and as long as it bothers you then you are good.
It is when He stops bothering you about it.... then you best check up on yourself and see if you are in the faith.
