Too often lately (in dealing with others) the military aspect of dealing with principalities in the heavenly places has taken president over all else. I thank God that the Captain of the Lord’s army can be my guide at these times because of the lack of feelings that accompany.
("Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground" Exodus 3:5, Joshua 5:15
Military armour was the need of the time, Ephesians 6:10-18 IE: His righteousness covering the heart, His salvation head-covering, truth buckled in, His gospel to carry far His Word, our weapon.
Feelings (I’m neither for you or against you Joshua 5:14) aren’t needed to carry out duty when speaking to the spirit behind the person. The word of God is sufficient for the taking down of strongholds within. In this battle Christ is our Captain of Salvation. 1 Corinthians 16:13-14, Hebrews 2:10
But always I experience Him as the Great Shepard of my soul. 1 Peter 1:8 “Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy” 1 Peter 2:25 “For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.” (1 Peter 1:9, 1 Peter 2:22, 1 Peter 2:11, 1 Peter 4:19, 2 Peter 2:8)
As Gardener (Husbandman) He continually works the soil of the soul. His noble work surrounds the strong tower which protects us day and night. Isaiah 58:11, Psalms 18:2, Proverbs 18:10
The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; He is our stronghold in time of trouble. The Lord helps, delivers and saves us from the wicked because we take refuge in him. Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.
Peace n love
