It's a total no duh that the whistleblowers would be receiving death threats, which is why it's the fully correct and legal course of legal to protect his / her identities no matter how many pathetic temper tantrums Donald Trump has over it.

Trump, displaying his epic level of ignorance, compared the whistleblowing to "spying" and stupidly said it was treason, an offense that can carry the penalty of death.

"If I find out who that whistle blower is I'm going to kill him!" oops...looks like a death threat against someone they don't know...
tulc(took all of 15 seconds to figure out how someone could both receive a death threat and still be anonymous)

It would be great if we could get an actual source for this claim, I can't find anything searching for it aside from this tweet. If you look at their Twitter feed, it goes to http://theupdatertu.blogspot.com and most of their articles appear to be copied from Fox News -- though they don't have an article on Schiff stating this.

This definitely appears to be fake news.

Are you laboring under the delusion anonymous people can't receive death threats?

Apparently he is. o_O

Watergate happened way b4 my time but I'm pretty sure that Deep Throat would have received death threats from unhinged Nixon fanatics despite famously having his identity protected. Ppl also had guesses about his identity even tho it was protected.

Hi hislegacy,

I have to agree with simplyme. I also did a quick google search on 'schiff whistleblower death threats' and so far the only source for that information is a twitter feed. I don't think that these days twitter posts are considered valid news sources. I mean, they're like facebook. Anybody can write anything.

God bless,
In Christ, ted

View attachment 264707 seems he forgot he is still anonymous

And people still believe what he says.

I'm going to kill @hislegacy when I get my hands on them!

Oh wait, I don't know who you actually are, just your username which is completely anonymous to me. . I guess with OP logic this message can never be considered a death threat.

*Since I probably have to state it anyways, this message was intended as a counter-argument and should in no way be construed as a legitimate death threat.*

So the people who have been encouraging death threats and more to be used against the president and anyone who works for the Administration and even Republican members of the Electoral College...

are upset because their own party worker who is playing the role of "whistleblower" claims to have received some death threats, even though no one knows the whistleblower's identity?

This hoax gets weirder by the day. o_O

Are you laboring under the delusion anonymous people can't receive death threats?

Indeed, anonymous people tend to wish to remain so precisely because of death threats...

What people are these? Do you have any examples showing they’re the same ones upset by this?

You mean people like this guy:
Trump suggests 'second amendment people' could stop Clinton – video
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was speaking at a rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, about supreme court justices on Tuesday. Addressing Clinton’s ability to choose members of the supreme court, he said, ‘If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,’ he said, adding: ‘Although the second amendment people – maybe there is, I don’t know’

Well..to be fair, death threats do seem to be something to be upset about...sorry:

This hoax gets weirder by the day. o_O
The one where President Trump pretends he didn't break the law and a lot of his supporters go along with him? Yeah, that IS getting weirder.
tulc(appreciates Albion also noticing it)

Hi albion,

First of all, death threats are never ok. Not made by the president in some statement threatening to wipe an entire nation of people off the face of the earth; not made by anyone against the president; not made towards any legislator or anyone else for that matter. Death threats are never ok. The only time one might get a pass is if it's made by someone trying to protect the life of their loved one.

Secondly, it's been almost an entire 24 hours since this thread was started and I just checked, there is still no mainstream news source reporting it. There's a good chance that this is just some bot twitter account that wants to irk you and get you all excited and make you feel good that you're protecting the administration by making joke about a death threat against a person no one knows.

Look at your post. Read it again. All of that came from some likely bogus twitter feed. However, if it does turn out to be true, I don't think your claim is. How do you know that it's 'their own party worker who is playing the role of "whistleblower"' who claims to have received some death threats? I'm curious, as it's not really clear to me, 'who' you are referring as 'their own party worker' and 'who' you are referring to as 'playing the role of "whistleblower"? Are those one and the same person or are they two different people and who would they each be?

Sometimes I don't get responses from you on direct questions, but I'd really like to know 'who' this person or persons are?

God bless,
In Christ, ted
