I forget which preacher it was, but the analogy of our minds as a water pipe is one that resonated the most.

If the pipe is rusted, all the water passing through it is affected. All of our thoughts, prayers, meditations on scripture etc pass through our mind, so what we allow to influence our minds is a real consideration.

This is so true. I found myself dreaming about CF threads just the other night. And, with the bickering, arguing, condemnations, and overall bufoonery, it was downright immoral. Not good. I ask myself, "What am I feeding my mind?"
