I haven't told this to anybody, but I actually struggled with gender identity issues for awhile when I was 16 or 17 (somewhere around there). It was because I was surrounded by so-called "hateful conservatives" that I never declared anything, or tried to go as far as getting a surgery, and I'm so grateful that I didn't! That was definitely a low point in my life, with a lot of issues going on in my head, and even though it's seen by our culture as "openness" if someone would've let me stop identifying as male, it's been such a blessing that I wasn't in an environment where that would've been acceptable. Thanks largely to Jason Evert & the Theology of the Body, I've since discovered my purpose as a man, and that really resonated with me: This is literally who I was designed to be! Thank God for bringing me to the truth on gender roles in a very confused society!

And on the subject, here's the best view on transgenderism I've ever heard; it's about 9 minutes, and you'll quickly see why I praise his view:

May God bless us all, especially those in difficult emotional situations!

I struggled with this, too, from age 14 to roughly 18. I got pretty far along. Never went for surgery. Had I done so, in a few years, I would have found myself missing the old me, wishing for more fluidity of presentation, and regretting chopping off stuff and attempting to turn myself into a guy. These feelings can pass. Mine did.

This regret needs to be talked about more. There are confused, lost young people out there making horrible choices, mostly to escape the pain of trauma as a kid.

...and want to transition back, says trans-rights champion.

*You are in the Catholic forum*

'Hundreds' of transgender people who have transitioned want to un-do their surgery, a campaigner who decided to stop identifying as a male has revealed.

Continued below.
Hundreds of youths who had gender surgery wish they hadn't, says trans rights champion | Daily Mail Online

I remember a story of one transgender at some school. The transgender became a white male at some all girls school or dorm, just for the sake of this whole nonsense "diversity". However she was rejected by the kids in there because she was now a "white male".. making her (or him) an oppressor.

That is the left eating itself.

I say, let them have their bed to sleep on. I think these wokes need to learn a hard lesson.

I have read recently that "transgender" play is very common among...toddlers and preschoolers.

Boys playing at being pregnant and breastfeeding. Girls planning to grow up to be a daddy.

Well, these things are good things, and the kids don't understand that boys do not get pregnant and girls do not grow up into "daddies". So why wouldn't / shouldn't they play? Plenty of time to learn about...limitations.

What I'm saying is that I can believe that this trans-kid stuff is just reinterpreting a very common phenomenon in child development...and then fanning it into a fire and selling drugs and hormones...

I agree. There's a lot of money to be made. They lose the money if folks take a step back from surgery and hormones, and learn to live as and accept their birth sex.

They lose the money EVEN if people still want to be "transgender" but just skip surgery and hormones!

hmm. if the boy is doing that for the sake of humor then I say it's normal. However, if he seriously role playing then I don't think that is normal.

All I can say is that I read it's extremely common in toddlers of both sexes. And this is in a work from before all the recent trans stuff. I.e. - it is normal and is associated with normal development.
