I'm sorry but no, Pelosi did not just accept it as true nor is it all just being accepted as true. Instead, there was a whistle blower's complaint that was examined by the IG, an IG that was appointed by Trump, and found to be both "credible" and "urgent." Pelosi did not "accept" it, she didn't pass impeachment articles over the report. Instead, she opened an impeachment inquiry so that the truth could be found -- of course, pretty much everything that is being released has supported claims in the report, at least so far.

Will Sen. Johnson now speak out against the President and possibly be a "yes" vote to convict in a Senate trial?

The investigation will show whether or not the president ordered ambassadors to withhold military funding in order to get the Ukraine investigation of Biden.

It's always possible that if that is exactly what he asked for, he and the people around him were smart enough to not leave a paper/electronic trail.

One of the ambassadors was already under the impression that the white house wanted to pressure Ukraine by withholding military aid in order to get their Biden investigation. He said so in his tweet.

Another person got the impression from the Presidents phone call, the "treasonous" whistle blower...

And the call transcript proves the "whistleblowers" claims to be a nothing burger. Nancy should have kept her powder dry but she didn't, don't think she'll be speaker much longer.

Pelosi had to put impeachment on the table as they were refusing (illegally) to release the whistle blower complaint.

No, the call transcript shows Trump asked a foreign power to investigate one of his political opponents. He's doubled down on it since, and it is clearly against current US law -- and that is just what is in the transcript itself.

He might not have broken the law if he had limited it to "collusion" in general and had actually followed up with having Barr call the Ukraine -- but Trump never talked to Barr and instead he only sent his personal attorney. It will be worse, as some evidence appears to suggest, if Trump actually did withhold money authorized for Ukraine, and then further did the same thing with China, offering to resolve trade sanctions in favor of China if they would help investigate the Bidens and Warren.
