Well . . . I don't know. But I'll try, with the amount of information you are giving me here.

Don't give up.
We have God.
"God resists the proud," we have in 1 Peter 5:5 and also in James 4:6.

God is almighty and so He is effectively resisting each and every proud person, howsoever He pleases. So, this is included in whatever is going on with anything.

With God, we can make His use of any situation, like how Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers, but then God with Joseph used that to save many people's lives. And we know how Jesus on the cross went through all that, but God used that to save us and others

So, there is a catch > God is all-loving; so He will use our problems to help us to love any and all people, rather than merely quick-fixing things to go our own way for the lives we want.

So, whatever you were asking "Why" about, with God we can use it for His all-loving good. "What do You want me to do?" can work better than asking for an explanation. And submit to how God rules us in His peace > Colossians 3:15 > so we see things the way His peace has us seeing things, plus in His peace with share with our Creator in His own creativity for how to love each and every person.
