I remember reading women are getting abortion pills over seas. If pro-life people really care about fetuses or the unborn. Maybe they should try better ways to help. Then getting rid of Abortions .

There's been a spike in at-home abortions since Trump entered office & it's expected to go up. It's way cheaper & way less of a hassle to just get the pills from an online pharmacy or from Mexico, Canada. I'm friends IRL with Ella, Stanfordella from here, she has studied extensively with a prof who has looked at how Republican policies have long caused abortion rates to increase.

I asked what about people who weren't able to afford the luxuries you mentioned, and you said they probably weren't American if they couldn't.
yes. notice the lack of me writing that "being poor" makes you stop being American, and the abundance of you writing it. If you're 1) living in reality 2) living on this planet then most likely you're aware that "poor Americans" are quite wealthy, by the world standards. They can afford all sorts of luxuries that you would never think of as "poor". One exception would be N. Koreans. Many North Koreans think that Americans live in abject poverty and eat rats and things.

so, again, if you can't afford any of those things then the odds are you're not American.

Yes. And the context of this thread is the American state of Alabama. Meaning: you brought up a non-sequiter. Not meaning: being unable to afford those things causes you to stop being American. Duh.

I know plenty of Americans who can't afford those things myself included.

I don't believe that. And I don't think you really do, either. I'd bet good money that if we looked at your finances and spending I could objectively prove your ability to afford luxury items.

Anyway: if you can't afford those things then you can't afford to have sex, or the social rituals involved in that kind of relationship. meaning you have no business doing it.

Killing babies isn't an important decision, it's a terrible one.
Killing an un wanted fetus is a very important decision. Making Birth control easy to get, is even a better idea. But most prolife people don't seem to like teens or young people learning about Birth Control.

Not a fetus, a baby. Show them the baby on a monitor and almost all girls change their minds about killing him or her.

This is true. All egregious violations of basic human rights are serious matters that require strict punishment by the law.

There's been a spike in at-home abortions since Trump entered office & it's expected to go up. I'm friends IRL with Ella, Stanfordella from here, she has studied extensively with a prof who has looked at how Republican policies have long caused abortion rates to increase.

This really puts the lie to the bigotry of the anti-equality side of things. "Dur dur Drumpf policy makes abortions more more-n-more cuz dey get cheap abortaficients from Mexico and Canada!". Sorry folks, but if you can afford abortificients then you can afford contraceptives. The duplicity, the double-speak, the outright lying from the pro-abortion side is glaring.

At the end of the day, when you cut through the smokescreens, double-speak, the hypocrisy, and outright lies the crux of the matter is that some people want be able to kill other humans they find to be a nuissance. It's nothing new: people have been doing it since ancient times. The only sub-humans lacking a soul are the ones projecting that condition onto the pre-born.

a fetus is a human, every bit as much as an infant, adolescent, or adult.

I've known people, that seen the fetus and heartbeat. And it didn't change their mind. And I know one person was glad, because God gave them a different child, that they wouldn't have had, if it wasn't for the abortion. I doubt people will be changing their mind, because of being forced to see the monitor and heartbeat. That's just wishful thinking.

Keep dreaming. it's easy enough to get abortion pills on line. Worry about the born.

I think that these programs are teaching teenagers that the consequences of their actions don't exist... And contributing to a generation of entitlement.
Do you think that babies should be a consequences and used to teach teenagers lessons?

If only we knew how people got pregnant. I graduated from High School in Alabama back in the late 80s and sex education consisted of talking about pea plants, chromosomes, and leaving space for Jesus.
No practical sexual education.

Really?

Yet the are getting the desired result, fewer unwanted pregnancies and fewer abortions. Is it better to have more abortions so people suffer consequences?
That’s just it. If people (women) don’t have ‘consequences’ (odd term for human life) how can they ‘women’ be punished for having sex?

The bottom line is that there is a certain section of ‘American’ society that thinks that women who have sex should be punished for it. For some unquantifiable reason.

For most people travel is kind of a necessity...sex is not.
Um.

Do you know anything about human beings? The drive to have sex is a normal part of the human existence.

Taking precautions to prevent unwanted pregnancies is the best way to stop abortions.

Is the desire to stop abortions or stop people having sex?

I think the realization that actions have consequences should be taught instead of handing out free license to be promiscuous. This has only led to the worsening of society.

This places the importance of getting people to conform to your sexual morality above lowering the number of abortions.
