Starting a new job tomorrow please pray for me

May the peace of the Lord be with you

Congratulations on your new job! I switched companies 8 months ago and remember being anxious. Something my wife always says is 'you're not there to make friends. Not everyone has to like you.' One pastor I listen to on the radio says that 'everyone is profoundly insecure.'

But as a Christian you have a powerful ally in your corner, so everything is going to work out great. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28.

I'm praying that everything goes well for you and that you are able to slowly work your way into feeling at home in your new job. Don't try to rush into demonstrating your abilities, take your time learning your new job. Keep in mind that it's only a matter of time before you feel comfortable. It's okay to feel anxious at first. That's normal. May you be blessed.
