Wow! You are wrong yet again! "Armageddon" is the battle that will take place as soon as Jesus descends as shown in Rev. 19. It is before the 1000 reign begins.

Correction: it is what your preconceptions imagine the scriptures say. In short, your understanding of what you read is just NOT what the Author meant.

So you are a stickler for what is written?
Dan. 9:27 He will make a firm covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering.

he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.
he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease
he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering
he will stop both sacrifices and offerings.
he will end all sacrifices and offerings.

It does not matter which translation you read: in this verse the sacrfices STOP.

Yet, in reality, they DID NOT stop when Jesus died or when He rose from the dead.

Imagining that Daniel 9:27 really fit what happened at Jesus death and resurrection is only that: imagination. It is really talking about our future, when the man of sin will enter the temple. He will NOT be a high priest, and he may well be a Gentile. In any case, when he enters the temple, it will desecrate the temple and the daily sacrifices will cease - stop, END. They cannot continue until the temple is cleansed.

It happened with Antiochus and it will happen again with the man of sin.

No man can make the sacrifice and oblations to cease---JESUS DID SO AT THE CROSS!! His death marked the end of the sacrificial offerings for He was the Lamb. God signified the end when the veil was torn, if you do not understand that---no prophecy will be clear.

Mat_27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

What is the significance of the veil torn top to bottom?---No man could have done that---it was 30 feet high.

If that is your believe. It is not mine.

2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

If it does this to that Wicked one---you think any other wicked person escapes?

2Pe_3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
2Pe_3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Jer 4:23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
Jer 4:24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
Jer 4:25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
Jer 4:26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.
Jer 4:27 For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.
Jer 4:28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

He does not make a full end of it---not until after the 1000 years are up and judgment is meted out.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The 1st resurrection is that of the saved at His coming. The living wicked are destroyed, the rest of the dead remain dead---there is no one here. The earth is destroyed and has a 1000 year Sabbath. Which goes with the land sabbaths God instituted.

Exo 23:11 But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
Exo 23:12 Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.

2Ch 36:20 And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:
2Ch 36:21 To fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.

God set up 6 days of labor, then the sabbath day rest---the land was to be sown six years then a one year sabbath. The children of Israel had not kept the land sabbaths and it lay desolate 70 years during the Babylonian exile. It is 6 thousand years---then a 1000 year sabbath of the planet.

Hebrews 10
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

When did Jesus take away the first and establish the second?

Did the first stop when the second was established?

Does Hebrews 10:8-10 reiterate and reconfirm what Daniel 9:27 declares?

The answers are self-evident from Scripture itself.

I do not INTERPRET the scriptures. I ACCEPT them.

Jer_31:31 "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—

Mat_26:28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Mar_14:24 And He said to them, "This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.

Luk_22:20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.

1Co_11:25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."

2Co_3:6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Heb_8:8 Because finding fault with them, He says: "BEHOLD, THE DAYS ARE COMING, SAYS THE LORD, WHEN I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH—

Heb_8:13 In that He says, "A NEW COVENANT," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Heb_9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Heb_12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

You quoted scriptures about one subject as if they were speaking of a different subject.

That is you interpretation, or the standard preached, not your acceptance. It's your choice as to what to believe. Jesus will say it is done, the time of choice will be over then, and He returns, His reward is with Him, that is perfectly clear. So, no, there is no 2nd time in which to make a choice.

Good. So you accept:

Hebrews 8
6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

I do agree that the parable of the Rich man and Lazarus is mostly misunderstood. Just about everybody insists it is about hell.

This is a physical blood relationship, not a spiritual thing. Each of these 144,000 will be a descendant of Jacob and a descendant of one of Jacob's sons.
The People of God were *never* a group based solely on a physical blood relationship. Look at Genesis 17:12:

Genesis 17:12 ~ Throughout your generations, every male among you at eight days old is to be circumcised. This includes a slave born in your house and one purchased with money from any foreigner. The one who is not your offspring.
.......and Isaiah 56

Salvation for Foreigners

This is what the LORD says:

“Maintain justice and do what is right,

for My salvation is coming soon,

and My righteousness will be revealed.

Blessed is the man who does this,

and the son of man who holds it fast,

who keeps the Sabbath without profaning it,

and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

Let no foreigner who has joined himself to the LORD say,

“The LORD will utterly exclude me from His people.”

And let the eunuch not say,

“I am but a dry tree.”

For this is what the LORD says:

“To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths,

who choose what pleases Me

and hold fast to My covenant—

I will give them, in My house and within My walls,

a memorial and a name

better than that of sons and daughters.

I will give them an everlasting name

that will not be cut off.

And the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD

to minister to Him,

to love the name of the LORD,

and to be His servants—

all who keep the Sabbath without profaning it

and who hold fast to My covenant

I will bring them to My holy mountain

and make them joyful in My house of prayer.

Their burnt offerings and sacrifices

will be accepted on My altar,

for My house will be called a house of prayer

for all the nations.”

Thus declares the Lord GOD,

who gathers the dispersed of Israel:

I will gather to them still others

besides those already gathered.”

......and maybe most importantly, look a the "family tree of Jesus"

Israel, Abraham, and Modern Times]
Salmon (tribe of Judah) and Rahab(Canaanite) had Boaz

Boaz (mixed half tribe of Judah, half Canaanite) and Ruth (Moabite) had Obed

Obed (half Moabite, quarter Canaanite, and quarter Jewish ;) ) fathered Jesse

and Jesse fathered david.

Right here, we can see that while Obed could trace his lineage through Judah, he was barely of the DNA of Israel.

Matthew 1:5 Salmon was the father of Boaz by Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed by Ruth,

Both Rahab and Ruth, who were not born Israelites, had faith and were thus included into Israel and the promises of God, as God used their lineage to bring forth the Messiah.

Rahab is even listed with the heroes of faith, who did not receive what was promised, because God, through Christ, had planned something better for her (them and us).

Hebrews 11:31 By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies in peace, did not perish with those who were disobedient.

Hebrews 11:39 These were all commended for their faith, yet they did not receive what was promised. God had planned something better for us, so that together with us they would be made perfect.

The 1st resurrection is that of the saved at His coming. The living wicked are destroyed, the rest of the dead remain dead---there is no one here. The earth is destroyed and has a 1000 year Sabbath. Which goes with the land sabbaths God instituted.

Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Obviously the earth is not vacant during the thousand years. The above text proves it. Verse 8 clearly says satan shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth. In order to deceive these nations they have to be occupied by people. As a matter of fact, these nations are occupied by a vast number of people---the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

So where did all of these people come from all of a sudden if the earth has been vacant the entire thousand years?

Sorry, but it does not---you see there is a 2nd resurrection---the resurrection of the wicked. The living wicked died at His 2nd coming, the dead wicked remain dead.

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

The 1st resurrection is when Jesus comes the 2nd time. and takes the righteous with Him for a 1000 years. Then the wicked are resurrected to face their judgement.

David is still correct that the Earth is very populated during the thousand years...not only those nations that Satan goes to deceive after the thousand years is over, but Christ and his immortal saints are also there for the thousand years. There is even a camp of the saints that gets surrounded after the thousand years and it hasn't been empty for a thousand years.

You are free to interpret the scriptures whoever you want. I believe the saints spend the 1000 years in heaven with Christ, the wicked are dead and remain that way (as scripture says) and then the resurrection of the wicked and they are judged and punished.

I believe Jesus means what He says and does what He says and when He says it is done---It is done!

2Co_3:14 but their minds were hardened: for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remaineth, it not being revealed to them that it is done away in Christ.
Eph_5:12 for the things which are done by them in secret it is a shame even to speak of.
Rev_16:17 And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air; and there came forth a great voice out of the temple, from the throne, saying, It is done:

His work as our High Priest and intercessor is over and everyone will have made their choice. And He says:

Rev_22:11 He that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still: and he that is filthy, let him be made filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still: and he that is holy, let him be made holy still.

Time is up.

Are you then meaning it is the resurrected wicked dead that satan deceives(Revelation 20:8) after the thousand years, and that the resurrected wicked dead die twice then, once before the thousand years, a 2nd time after the thousand years? The 2nd time meaning this----and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them(Revelation 20:9).

No scripture supports any of that. Scripture says Christ comes here with the saints and never shows them leaving. It also shows the Earth being populated by the unsaved nations that are as many as the sands of the sea.

The saved die once-- The wicked die twice.

Rev_2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Rev_20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: over these the second death hath no power; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Rev_20:14 And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire.
Rev_21:8 But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part shall be in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.

Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
