Is Impeachment already Back-firing? A Bridge too far perhaps?

The Trump defenders here remind me of Rush on the air yesterday: a lot of frustration, (in Rush's case) a lot of hot air, and a determined will to misunderstand that Trump is in deep trouble.

The polls are listed above and you even quoted the post they were in. Trump’s approval is going down. A majority of Americans don’t approve, according to the 6 polls listed.

Obama was over in Syria butchering women and children and that was ok, none of the liberals complained about that. Trump investigates Biden's son for corruption and they want to impeach him. We have not even got into the fact that we were providing weapons to deal with the freedom fighters. Where there is smoke there is fire, so we know something is going on over there with Biden and his son.

There is a good reason they do not want Biden's dirty deeds exposed in the Ukraine. The scuttlebutt is that if Biden is exposed he will shut down his campaign. Actually I always thought Joe was a pretty good guy. Even if he does ramble a lot. But it looks like Trump has enough on him that they are launching a massive cover up over whatever was going on over there in the Ukraine.

Trump is not in deep trouble. They simply do not have anywhere near the 2/3 majority needed to impeach him. They had a massive investigation and they could not find anything on him. Nothing is going to come out of this either. He is going to be re elected. You can bank on that. Biden does not stand a chance. It would not surprise me if he has even less IQ points then Al Gore. The last vice president that tried to run for office and was defeated by the Supreme Court of all things.

That is just it, Trump wasn't actually trying to research corruption. Again, he never talked to AG Barr about the call, never opened any investigation into the Bidens. Instead, he sent his personal lawyer to the Ukraine and asked the Ukrainian PM to have his government help Giuliani. Additionally, Giuliani has clearly stated he was working in the Ukraine as a "private citizen," not in any type of government capacity.

They only people "duped" is Trump supporters who have such faith in Donald that they cannot even recognize when he is clearly, and the evidence is showing it, involved in corruption.

Of course Trump is in deep trouble. Impeachment hearings will bring all the criminality in which Trump has been and is engaging. While I do not expect Trump to stand trial in the Senate, the DAs federal and state are waiting for him to leave office to indict on many charges.

You can bank on this.

And you would be wrong, particularly since it has been a Republican Supreme Court for the last several decades. In fact, that appears to be the reason Pres. Bush won the election over Gore, because the Supreme Court voted along party lines to give the election to Bush.

Yes, it is just lip service. Hillary did not even support women's rights. She may claim to support the liberal agenda but that is just giving them lip service to get their vote or donations. Her main objective was to put money in her pocket and that is what Biden was doing when he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

Lawless people seem to think everyone is lawless and that simply is not true. They just did an investigation on Trump and they came up empty handed. Trump follows the law. The whole concept that lawless people want to hold everyone accountable to the law is going to bite them. During the tribulation everyone will be under the law and everyone will be held accountable. People do not realize how big of a deal lawlessness is in the Bible. They will be without excuse because of their demand for the very law that is going to convict them.

Actually, the polls don't show Trump's support going down.

There's only one poll since Pelosi's announcement which shows his approval dropping slightly. RCP shows an Economist/YouGov poll this morning in which Trump's approval dipped 2 points from the last poll which was conducted just prior to Pelosi's announcement. Politico/MorningConsult also shows up this morning in RCP and it has identical Trump approval with that of last week's poll.

So, there you have it, one poll finally registers a slight dip in Trump's approval, well within the margin of error, btw.

Trump did not have anything to do with the support he got from Putin. A lot of innocent women and children were being killed in Syria and Putin wanted to put an end to all of Obama and Hillary death and destruction.

Oh, you mean since the announcement. So you’ve looked at all the polls and compared them to the last poll?
