Curiosity maybe . I don’t consider glancing at inappropriate content a sin . What I consider to be sinful is the exploitation of the men and women involved. I was watching an interview with an adult film actress and she said that she was acting and that she didn’t always enjoy it. That I think is disgusting because if you’re not enjoying it , why do it ? For money ? That’s why I think this is exploitation or coercion

It is not a sin or a lust when God allows us to be tested or tempted. James tells us after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin.

"But each one is tempted when by his own evil desires he is lured away and enticed. Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is fully grown, gives birth to death. 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers" (James1:14,15)

You purposely clicked on the image, but if you withdrew your glance before you actually lusted after the person in the image then you refrained from sin. If you did lust confess it before God in brokenness, take heed to how you can sin no more and how you can be better prepared and on your guard to prevent moments like that again, and make sure you are walking in all the truth you know before God. Clear your heart thus before God and trust in His mercy. He want you to overcome; and His mercy and grace is abundant to those who repent and glorify him as God.

Psalm 103:11-18: "11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. 13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. 14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. 15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. 16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. 17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; 18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them."

No. You can't stop a bird landing on your head, but you can prevent it making a nest there. Jesus said that it is not what goes into a person, but what comes out of them in the form of anger, hatred, envy, jealousy, harsh and unkind words and criticism, that defiles a person.

Doing what you know is wrong is sin.
You did what you thought was right, the opposite of sin.
Thank God for giving you the courage to do what is right.
Many do not accept the help and they continue to sin
in what they know is wrong. God forgives all sin, on request.

Your conscience was affected by what happened enough that you decided to come here for guidance. That in itself suggests two important things: First, for you this was probably a sin. Second, The Holy Spirit is at work in you!

As others have said, seeing these images is not by itself a sin, choosing to click on those images and dwell on them suggests you've made a home for that sin.

Here's the thing to me though: don't waste your energy beating yourself up about it. Recognize the sin in you. Repent and ask forgiveness and begin again. I personally believe Godly believers remorse is humble, constructive, and motivating.

None of us are without sin. The temptation was not unique to you nor was your momentary lapse. You repented and changed your behavior and God surely will forgive anyone who repents.

None of us are without sin.
Jesus was without sin and He lived His life as an example for us to follow.

"For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet he did not sin". (Hebrews4:15)

We are talking about our priesthood. I follow the book of Leviticus and the instructions for being a priest. "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." (2Peter1:3)

Mormons talk about the Priesthood of Melchizedek. I do not claim to live that high of a standard to be used by God to that degree. There are people that do live according to that calling. If people do not take their priesthood serious before God then they should not expect to be used by God for His purpose. They can still be saved, just not called to the ministry.

A moment of weakness is a moment of weakness. A lifetime of weakness is not weakness. It is actually Strength. Strength, in the wrong direction. It's a fatal mistake to confuse one with the other, both in the people we deal with, and most especially in ourselves.

Most people find inappropriate content tempting out of momentary curiousity. Indulging it is fatal, we don't see the damage we are doing. It is not immediately fatal, but slowly.

As James says

15 Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is fully grown, gives birth to death.

You won't see that until you sit in rooms and hear stories from people who let their lives be driven by it, to the point of destroying marriages, legal consequences, emotional destruction to themselves and those close to them, impotence. You can hear "this is a sin" and as Paul says "I didn't know covetousness, until someone told me not to covet"

Romans 7:8-9
8 But sin, seizing its opportunity through the commandment, produced in me every kind of covetous desire. For apart from the law, sin is dead. 9 Once I was alive apart from the Law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died.

I think you had a desire or a curiousity, but take it from someone who went further and indulged and spent 20+ years as an addict; what James says is true. Stay away from it, keep yourself and your thoughts Holy. Otherwise there will come a day when you will wish you could or had. If you find your way back from that, it will be by Grace. And part of the deal will be to tell others what you found so they avoid the same pain you endured and caused. Many don't find their way back though, they cling to it till the end and lose everything of value.

How Are We Cleansed by the Word?
Well, Jesus said, "You are clean through the word which I have spoken," and if you're going to be clean, you're going to have to pay attention to the Word and let the Word cleanse you. You don't change the Word to make it mean what you want it to mean.

What does it mean that our sins are washed away? | GotQuestions.org
The blood of Christ is what washes our sins away (1 John 1:7; 1 Peter 1:19). Hebrews 9 contrasts the old methods of cleansing with the new covenant that came through Jesus Christ. Jesus came to earth to establish a new way of being made right with God.
